SHOCKER!! Of course they won't reset the servers. Why would they improve their reputation now when it's easier to just continue making all the wrong decisions.
I was really pulling for this sequel to be a hit. If this is true, you have to wonder if this game really is that good? Oh well, no shocker, it's not like Far Cry 2, Ass Creed, and PoP were anything but repetitive anyway.
Of course, he signs your checks.
No wonder your dumbass has 1 bubble
Valve's business tactics defy all logic. I cannot believe the guys up top let their staff speak like this. It's gotten to the point where they're probably better off not bringing anything over to the PS3, no one is going to buy it after all the garbage they spew.
This is the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard. Hey Valve how about you guys get your heads out of the sand and go ask Activision what platform made them the most money recently.
EA ported it over, so he's right. Valve has not made a game for the PS3 themselves.
Sony purchased MM just after LBP was released.
That's good to hear swift. I will definitely keep a close eye on the rest of the reviews and if they succeed on everything you say then they can add one more to the millions they will sell this year.
There are reasons to at least be skeptical of MW2 based on the way CoD4 played. While I did play the hell out of it, it still had many flaws.
Some have been noticeably fixed like host ending game, while other fixes are still up in the air like grenade spamming at the beginning of the match, horribly placed spawn points, hit detection being extremely off when shooting from a distance, and super small maps with only a handful of different routes to take. I'm on the fence about MW2...
Can someone explain this concept a little more clearly?
looking good so far
They could have just added trophy support and left the price as is. Trophy whores would eat em up.
Here's why I'm not getting it right away:
CoD4 had an array of issues that were never fixed:
Hit detection is way off, small maps, grenade spamming, spawn points were in the most obvious spots, no capture the flag, host ending game more often than not killed the game for me more than anything else
I will wait for multiple reviews before even thinking about getting this. The timed exclusive maps for the 360 left a bitter taste in my mouth as well. I am cu...
Just delay it and fix the problems. I have no problem waiting with all of the other games coming out.
I'd like to pick i up, but I just bought Demon's Souls and Uncharted 2. And before Borderlands, I'd buy Ratchet and Clank. With MW2, Bad Company, and Ass Creed 2 around the corner, i'd have no time for this game. The games just gonna have to wait till Xmas atleast.
Hugh Jackman works. His Van Helsing character was pretty close to what you expect from Nathan Drake.
CoD4 is overrated. The game has many issues.
1) Hit Detection: I don't know if it's due to lag or what, but the hit detection is very inaccurate
2) Grenade Tossing: You can grenade frag almost immediately upon respawn with a baseball toss over buildings, that's supposed to be realistic?
3) Host Ending Game: Happened so often I could not play as long as I'd like to
4) Small Maps: There were only a handful of routes to take, which made it easy for an elite team to...
The Suffering on the PS2, Dead Space, Condemned 2, RE1 on PS1/PSN, Medieval on PS1/PSN....all great halloween games
good call
For people who have this:
Have they fixed the spawn point locations in multiplayer?
Is the noob tube still a problem?
Are the maps larger?
How are the servers?
