I think people personally are making too big of a deal about things. The multiplayer is fine in my opinion. Sure it takes a little long, but nothing thats a big deal. These tips are pretty much common sense. I did the CO-Op first. But I'm actually impressed with the Multiplayer. I'm actually kind of shocked to find a lot people not liking it. It's actually really good and took me by surpise. The Co-Op mode was just ok in my book. It was fun, but having to play the same mission over and over again gets old. And just isn't as fun as the Deathmatch.
but thats a PC. Even though a PS3 could very well be capable of being a computer, the fact still remains that its a console. If I want a PC, I'll play a PC, and that way if a data install happens, then no worries because I can expect it.

There is a very simple way to make all gamers happy when it comes to these "installs". Make them optional. Soul Caliber 4 did it. And I think thats the best Idea for everyone.

First off. Sony has finally been catching some ground. PS3's were sort of a stand still last year, in terms of sales, but now things have been picking up for them. Especially everywhere besides the United States. Yes Xbox 360 might be the lead console right now. But people are also buying PS3's along with the 360's. And it will pick up especially this fall in terms of sales with all the good games coming out and the new bundle. NOw they just need the PS2 Emulator back.

I'm strongly against these mandatory installs. I have the 60gig PS3 and most of the games I have, have a mandatory install. I just don't understand why we have to be forced to install just to be on par with the 360.I saw no difference whatssoever from GTA4 and Devil May Cry 4. And this is just a fighting game. I got the update the night it came out on my 60gig(launch). I havne't noticed any problems yet. I hardly doubt there will be a a PS4 by 2010. Although the PS3 is finally picking up its feet, its still got a long way to go. Also there is a lot of untapped potential still in the PS3. I think Doom 4 will be great. You have to remember that after Doom 2 those were some big shoes to fill. Not only that but Doom 1 & 2 are obviously outdated although a classic. I guess Doom 3 didn't have that feel cause the devilopers where trying to do something revolutionary at the time. And it didn't quite work out but it still was a hell of a game. I think they will have their act together for Doom 4.
