I look at sites like IGN, Gamespot and their reviews as more of a guide and way to get info on the game. I never take their reviews to heart.

Yeah any DLC that is already on the disc is kind of sketch. Like Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter 4.
But the most pointless Add-on that would fit pretty good at #8 or #9 on the list is the Resistance 2 Maps. Nobody ever played them. It was was a waste of money.
But Jedi Temple wasn't that bad. It definitely shouldn't have been $10 though. But it wasn't that bad. And they have some more out now.
I never was into Halo back in the Xbox days. When I bought a 360 and only had Dead Rising. I decided to get Halo 1 and 2. I thought they were great. But what really got me was Halo 2's multiplayer. There is no denying it was one of the greatest and strongest multiplayer games ever made. Its what got me to pay for the Xbox Live subscription. Now there are a million games with online, but still nothing like Halo 2 at that time.

I really don't see the need to rechange the whole box art. Especially the way they did it like this. There is no reason for it. And it actually looks a lot worse. I like they old way. And yeah it is going to look a bit odd now with the older games. Sony can't ever sit still. They always have to go out and change something for the worse.

The ps3 finally picking up steam again. They have plenty of stock here in Orlando, FL. The website says they are out of stock, if you wanted it ship to your house. Best buy is usually pretty good of having an ample stock. Unless they are selling ridiculously then I can see it being sold out.

I have the 60 gig original and wouldn't give it up for anything. I play PS3 games more obviously but its nice to be able to have the choice to play ps2 games. Considering the fact I have over PS2 50 games.

As a 60 gig owner, I couldn't imagine have a PS3 that doesn't play PS2 games. Being able to play PS2 games opens up a whole library of possible games to play. And some of them hold up even after the test of time. Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3, God of War I & II, Resident Evil 4, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Soul Caliber, and other great series and games still hold up after all this time. And they all look great on the PS3.

GTA 4 was an excellent game. Definitely deserved game of the year. Some missions were repetitive but I remember having a great time with this game. I even played and beat it again once the Trophy patch came out for it. I hope any or all DLC does come out for the PS3. It would be nice to be able to continue to play.

Its so funny seeing everyone discuss the economics of the PS3 or 360. Who cares. I'm sure everyone here has a preference. But a real gamer will be open to all 3 systems and just enjoy gaming in general. I'm sure there a lot of people that don't like the PS3. Big deal. I just got the 3GS a couple weeks ago and the battery actually last me a full day. And that's with constant texting, using the phone, messing around with apps, and having the wifi detector on.
I do get Multi-plat games on the xbox 360. My opinion they always run better and don't have to do a Mandatory Data Install. Take a look at Resident Evil 5 and Grand Theft Auto 4. Mandatory installs when the Xbox 360 versions run better with none of that. Now granted, I think multi-plat games like the ones I just mentioned along with Assassins Creed and Bioshock look better on the PS3.

I think there a lot of games out there that didn't really need multiplayer to begin with. Bionic Commando definitely comes to mind. Devs are just following in line with the trends out there. I Loved both games a lot. I loved the story and got into it. I have some high expectations for this game.
At first I wasn't too thrilled that a different developer was handling this game. But I think they know what they need to do to make it great.
I just hope this game still has that "Max Payne" feel. The violence, despair, drugs, hallucinations, guns, noir and comic feel.
