Same, I'd much rather live in the U.S. than most other nations right now. Too many Americans take their constitutional freedoms for granted and don't realize what real fascism, communism, or oppression is like.
The last Call of Duty I enjoyed was Infinite Warfare. Loved the campaign. Though I'm sure I'm in the minority. Seems like everyone just wants modern warfare, which is overdone and boring imo.
So a video game company like EA is "evil" by your standard ... lol just ridiculous.
Completely disagree.
For my first job in high school (grocery), a union rep fooled me into joining the union. Yes, I was young and dumb. I noticed when money was being deducted from my paycheck, which wasn't much much to begin with. I was pissed. I wanted out but the union just laughed at me. Luckily I knew a good lawyer and threatened legal action. Then they let me go.
The "union" is a mob. I vote right to work everytime. And if you choose ...
I miss the old Battlefields. I still play Battlefield 2 with the 64 bot mod. Guess it'll have to do.
Really sucks seeing many games go online only. Not what I want for the future of gaming. Hard pass as always.
From a hardware perspective, the controller is easily the most disappointing thing about the X|S. DualSense is truly next gen.
There are few corporations I despise more than Tencent.
3 > 5 > 2 > 4 > Evolution > Classic > Instincts
Only recently played Evolution on my One X and actually thought it was decent. Felt like an early version of Far Cry 3.
Online only = no buy.
Yah, I only have it cause I wanted a One X last summer and all I found was a Cyberpunk One X at Walmart. Overpriced but I'm glad I got it considering how hard it has become to find any new console. And it looks cool.
Idk... I like my Cyberpunk One X too much to switch it for a Series X atm. Maybe when Starfield comes out, assuming it's good.
As much as I enjoyed it, I still can't believe they made a cyberpunk themed game in which you can't change your appearance post character creation. Just bizarre.
Near DC. There was a Verizon outage in my area.
Just like any technology, the internet can go down. Could be a storm, car accident knocks out a line, router goes bad, or some other technical/network failure. My last router from Comcast would drop connection regularly. It was annoying.
I don't want to rely on it when playing a video game.
Great. Another game to pass on because they force a connection, even with bots. I'll never support that.
...and just yesterday my Fios internet went down for 10 hours in my area.
atm I'm actually replaying Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. Such a great RPG.
What happened to this guy is disgusting. And everyone who thinks it's OK is disgusting.
I hate it. I love the US but I hate how intolerable people have become of each others views, particularly over the past couple years. Everything here revolves around politics now. Every person, corporation, business has to give their two cents on every issue and if you don't agree then you risked being fired or cancelled or whatever.
I love space RPGs but I don't want to get my hopes up on this one, especially after the disappointment that was Fallout 4 and 76.
It concerns me how many gamers have no issue with giving up control. Subscription services, sp online only, streaming etc. all of it is bad for future of gaming imo. I prefer a library of games to own & play at anytime online or offline. I dont want to rely on servers & my internet connection. Especially since I never play online except for the occasional coop game.
