Keep RE8 for next gen only. RE3 Remake will be the last bang from this gen.

IGN tested it with Google Fiber 1GB up 1GB down and it had stuttering... And only he was using the bandwith...

Agree. I can see a 500GB PS5 for $450, 1TB for $500, 2TB for $600 and in the future with SSD getting bigger and even cheaper we will have 4/8/10TB carts for expand. Its not a bad idea and Sony can assure quality in system function.
We are using the same SATA and 5400RPM HDD since 2006's PS3. Games are built around that since forever. The real breakthrough next gen will be the data transfer rates, an HDD haves 25MB/s an SSD NVME is at least 1500MB/s (cheap intel 660P today). The jump will be comparable to SNES -> PS.
If i had to bet, its a SSD expansion slot. If its propietary tecnology then it can have less pins than a usual M2/NVME SSD.
The game is the same. Same world, same phisics, same everything. $1200 just for the GPU to play the same game but "prettier" one year later and with no chanceof resell my game when i finish it its not a good deal.
Heck even the One X is a better option
I did play it and beat it one year ago on my $100 Xbox One purchased on Ebay. Already sold the game (physical obviously) and bought RE 2 Remake with the money.

WiiDS era was just too much, hardware and software wise. I dunno if any other gen will have the impact of that one.
If Sony transforms the PS4 Slim (or eventually a super slim) into a PS2 Slim, with a 150-180 price, then PS4 lifetime sales will be around 130 million by 2025 when it ceases production. Pretty close to the 156 of the PS2.
