I do agree to an extent but without MS there would be no harddrives in consoles this Gen probably, then what would happen with the Blu-Ray games?
MS has helped push the industry forward but they've gone for very safe ideas and Sony's not done much really, the PS3 is a very similar design to the PS2 as the 360 is to the Xbox. Nintendo's designs have changed a lot though.

Square has only made one RPG for the 360 you know; The Last Remnant and it's still planned for the PS3, and it will be based on the advanced PC version not the 360 version.
Lost Odyssey's made my Mistwalker and that's pretty much guaranteed to see a sequel.
Sony never bailed them out, they were bailed out after The Spirits Within by Enix, you now like Square "Enix" and Sony doesn't own the IP and I don't think they'd own the Publishing rights on a remake. Just like Square can't put Infinite Undiscovery on the PS3 because they don't own the right to(Microsoft owns the IP).

I don't why everyone has a problem with that personally, just keeps a GBA or another DS. Then there's no problem.
The online on the DS is quite good in my opinion an sounds a lot better on DQIX, that's what's important though it's constantly improving.
There's some great games on the PSP but the DS is better for me personally, it's an RPG haven.
I've put a pre-order for one already and I bought a 4gb SD card today to make sure I have enough storage.
Well DQIX has a download shop which I think will only work on the DSi so there's that.
I like how Sony fans/fanboys(because not all of you are fanboys) say that the RPGs are rubbish on the 360 with no experience with them and basing your judgement on review scores and then say that the fact that WKC got average scores doesn't matter. Get Real.

The Last Remnant's the only problem and they're still planning to port that to the PS3(and it'll probably be the advanced PC version) and I thought nobody wanted The Last Remnant after they heard about the glitches.
Also if you use Star Ocean as an example I counter with Disgaea 3(they published it here in Europe on the 20th) which is exclusive to the PS3.

I think it's that the video is concentrated on the combat rather than the other parts of the game.
Umm the news was everywhere(on some other sites, probably on here too) that Microsoft was laying off workers because the SDF were going "HA! Microsofts going down!", ignoring the fact that Sony were laying off workers.
I don't think they own the IP though like Square don't own the IP for Infinite Undiscovery even though they published it.
If anything I can see SE working their way through the FFs up to IX on the DS, they would all be possible I think.

Why are people requesting refunds for more than one 360 though in the comments? That obviously means it's your fault as the warranty of the launch ones only just ran out and they did fix them for free(unless it was your fault).
Microsoft isn't nice, they're business people. Any business would do this(including Sony and Nintendo).
Cool, I really missed the old summons in FFXII especially the ones like Bahamut, Shiva, Ifrit, Leviathan just wasn't the same without them, especially when their replacements were just replacements.

I've never played a Valkyrie Profile game before but this looks great, I love my tactical RPGs. But I fear I may not be able to get it because of all the other releases around then.
My question is why do gamers support Sony and MS when they do exactly what Nintendo did except they also go against what they were saying. I think too many people believe Sony and MS and their developers when they say they respect gamers and the "hardcore" when in reality the most important thing is money.
And they are willing to drop their previously established values to get money. The sooner we realise the consumer(us) is being manipulated and exploited by all partie...
Ahh yes it is a bit more like the Eyetoy but the only reason this is being done isn't because of the eyetoy(which I consider a minor success) but because of the Wii.

And it's a Square Enix game on the DS, it's guaranteed to be good. Actually their games on the PSP are also of excellent quality.
I understand why they prefer handhelds as well, Console Gamer don't seem to appreciate them any more.:(
