It won't be my first DS but the plastic around the hinge on my DS phat snaps today so the top screen isn't fixed on, time to find some superglue to hold me over till April.

I ordered the black as well.

yer but how does that automatically mean Microsoft is conspiring against anything to do with Sony?

Hmm, I don't actually believe this as in "that guys lying".

What evidence is there except that Viacom deleted his video, unless I just didn't find where to click because it said "click here" but I couldn't.

Awesome, I can't wait for it! I hope it's great on both consoles so we can all enjoy it and I hope it isn't the abysmal price Lost Odyssey was(I waited until it was £10, a year later:P).

The sooner they finish without compromising quality the better.

You know when something's accessible it means to new and inexperienced player, not "veterans" because you're obviously going to have experience with it.

Tetsuya Nomura said no FFVII remake until after FFXIII and Versus VIII are out but I'd prefer a remake for the DS or just a port, I'd love to be able to play it on the go.

Agreed, looks fantastic but I expect nothing less of a Square Enix DS game.

6188d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

They'll be remaining Eidos and Square Enix it's just that on all the legal bits it will claim that Eidos is property of Square Enix or something. They're remaining separate like how you don't get Final Fantasy: Space Invaders(which now that I think about it could be awesome). I'm referring to the fact they own Taito by the way.;)

@Tony P:Oh yes thanks for the bubbles and the compliments.

@V: I think Square Enix could publish it on their own now anyways but if not th...

This game looks like so much fun, can't wait for it.

Looks like good connectivity too.

Oh I know but my point is that PS3 is of lower priority than the 360 and PC(PC being the highest), that's what I meant by MS dev. But they are technically an MS dev aren't they because they develop for windows primarily(not mac or linux or any other one)?

EDIT:@^: I'll agree to that, but now I have only one bubble left damn you! only kidding.;)

@V: I'm not disputing that I'm just saying MS' platforms are the preferred ones.

Well we're kind of in agreement then. Their (admittedly rare) new IPs just don't do as well as the ports and the remakes which is part of the reason why they make so many I think.

It's because there's a big difference between Square Enix fans and people who play FF(or their other popular series) games. Most people aren't looking for Square Enix RPGs, they're looking for FF/DQ/KH/SO/Mana/Saga which are all excellent series but they are restricting Square Enix from getting new IPs ...

But they're not a Sony dev. And it's obvious the MS platforms are their preferred so yes they are MS devs.

Morrowind would have been powerful(I mean possible but power is a consideration) but they it would probably need to have it's own memory dedicated to it but I had a 64mb one so that isn't too bad.

Yes Square must be happy with it but I'm sure it's Tri-ace who decided for a 360 exclusive, they seem to be best buds with MS and after recieving funding for Infinite Undiscovery(which is really difficult but underrated) they must just like MS.

6189d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

Well there aim is to appeal more to Western gamers so I doubt they'll mess about too much, although they may let 'em use the Crystal Tools engine for future games(Deus Ex 3 is already in development right?).

6189d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Morrowind has been on the original Xbox but not the PS2 so I'd count that as being an MS dev before a Sony dev.

And obviously Microsoft must be taken into consideration as there wouldn't be Games for Windows and similar otherwise.

Read my comment above. They are playing favourites, and that isn't nice but they've always been a primarily MS developer why would that change all of a sudden?

6189d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

Well considering Bethesda released games on the PC and Xbox before the PS3 they're primarily Microsoft developers. Sony technically stole Oblivion as an exclusive.

6189d ago 5 agree2 disagreeView comment

The Last Remnant, TWEWY, Song Summoner and I think some spin offs count as new, like Chocobo Tales and Dissidia may be an FF but it's a different concept and style. And there's the new game Blood of Bahamut although that may be tied with Final Fantasy.

And the majority of the games they develop stay in Japan(like the arcade games), the majority we see(assuming you're a westerner) are either franchise games or are only published by Square Enix.

My point is though that...

I agree, both are bound to be fun although personally I don't like either. Gears is too gratuitious and Killzone 2 uses the name "Sev" thus people will associate the name with Killzone 2 instead of Republic Commando! Well that and I didn't enjoy the first and I don't have a PS3 anyway(If I get one, which is unlikely, I'll try it).

Agreed and it'll prove JRPGs on the 360 aren't suicide.

Although the other 360 RPGs are sorely underrated in my opinion.

I think the costs have been made back of the previous 360 JRPGs so this definately should.
