Actually I think it's time for "hardcore" gamers to put up or shut up. The complaint has always been that Nintendo doesn't cater to them or publish hardcore games but now Nintendo isn't just publishing games like The Wonderful 101 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge but they've also brought Bayonetta 2 back from the grave.
If it was truly about the games and not just the brand name on the box then they shouldn't have a problem. Especially if the...
Golden Week. It's why nearly everything increased(both hardware and software).
It was Golden Week in Japan, which AFAIK means everyone gets a week off and thus consumer product sales get a boost.
Kinda disconcerting that Vita managed to drop on GW though.
DS>Wii so I predict 3DS>Wii U. Excited to see what Nintendo brings on both though.
The small answer: because it's made by Nintendo.
The guy in the mask claims to be Marth but this is set hundreds of years after Marth's games.
He was asked about FFXIII and says he hasn't played it. He previously said the only game he played whilst making The Last Story was Xenoblade.
Well as I said below I think the list is BS... but those games could easily be released both digitally and at retail.
I think the list is BS.
But a Crystal Chronicles games better happen for Wii U and/or 3DS.
More than likely it's been delayed so it can be there as one of the first download games for Wii U. They confirmed they had dev kits.
Breaking News: Crappy overpriced ports will not sell, especially when there is a superior and cheaper version available.
Omega Force should take a break from Dynasty Warriors so they can make a new Destrega!
Also Dynasty Warriors vs will be my first DW, It seems to be a sequel of sorts to Samurai Warriors Chronicles, which I loved.
Monster Games made Pilotwings Resort.
Arika has been working on all the 3D Classics games though.
How much do you want to bet people will twist that into "Wii U is comparable in power to PS3/360?"
...and yes it's good to know. I do hope they put DOA5 on there. Dimensions was the first DOA I played but the good thing is I'm actually more up to date than the people who only played the main ones!
Tomodachi Collection uses voice recognition a lot(which is why it wasn't localised) and was a multimillion selling game in Japan. Nintendo can definitely afford to splash out on voice recognition.
No, I think people should be a least a bit concerned. There was a lot of quality Japanese software made for the PSP due to how successful it was.
More importantly people can't just say "It'll be fine, look at 3DS." Sony can't rest on their laurels and need to be working as hard as possible, securing content and raising awareness.
tl;dr Sony has to be on the top of their games right now.
Bravely Default is the sequel to 4 Heroes of the Light. It's about warriors of light, crystals and has a job system... It has as much to do with Final Fantasy as stuff like Type Zero and Versus.
Also the SaGa and Mana games were originally labelled Final Fantasy in the west to help them sell.
Dimensions seems to be a go-to 3DS subtitle, like Next is for Vita, so just going off the name 3DS seems most likely. It could just be the western name for Bravely Default.
Kawazu said he would make Romancing SaGa 4 before he dies and he's been MIA since early 2010. The DS got remakes of SaGa 2 and 3 but they never got released EDIT: in the west.
Well that is going to be an issue in the next two years anyway because the next generation of consoles are incoming and like it or not companies are not going to continue making PS3 and 360 versions of games.
I also assume that you would have the same issue if this was announced as a PS4 or Nextbox game then?
