Pah! Video-games, what have you done this time?
Seriously though, if someone reacts like this "because" of a videogame (read: within 5 miles of a video-game) then the playa's the problem - not tha game.

... but in reverse.
I hope this is as good as it has the potential to be. I haven't played a good stealth game in a while, especially one involving assassinations.
You know what, I think you're right.
Cheers for the responses guys - I was a bit confused when I first saw that "Dentist" guy in the background of one of the promotional screens. A bit too happy for a guy attending a MMA match.
How about publishing truthful previews?
Finally, someone agrees with me on this. Previews are basically press releases the Publisher doesn't have to write. A load of bull... bull that exploits gamers' trust in the publication they appear in.
Remember that they're creating an original title for the PSP. Hopefully with 3D gameplay unlike this.
While I'm not a huge fan of babies... I don't like Guinness either, and I certainly wouldn't shake that up (much).
I'd love a PSP version... I've played the hell out of this on PC. It suits all handheld mediums so well, perhaps a iPhone version is in the works.
Then again, there's an iPhone version of everything nowadays.
Bloody Apple.
Still not buying. I've got a meth addiction to feed y'know.
The new Dark Athena aspects seem to be completely different from why I liked the original in the first place. A prison RPG is something surprisingly scarce in gaming and I thought the original Riddick game pulled it off perfectly. I wasn't in it for the action... I was in it for the immersion and the atmosphere. That, and the fighting arena-like contests.
Bioshock is really the defining game of the 2000s in my opinion. It's revolutionised how developers may approach narrative. I'd say in a way, it's the Reservoir Dogs of the gaming medium.
Let's hope other developers follow suit.
A lot of people sem hyped for this game... i'm going to have to do some research into it as I have no idea what it is.
6. Real Time Dismemberment
(ask Dark Messiah of Might and Magic)
coincidentally two games that received universal acclaim from the gaming press.
It's more to do with mainstream audiences, well trodden themes and genres and TV advertising. Even hardcore gamers are set in their ways when it comes to genres etc. Hardcore gamers are also less likely to pick up a game from an unknown/new studio.
I'd have a hard time if my dad beat me for being rubbish at games... i've been stuck on "The Metal" in Guitar Hero 3 for ages.
STOP MAKING ME WANT A DS OR GIVE ME ONE FOR FREE - MAKE UP YOUR MINDS.
[Insert equally fanboyish Xbox 360 retort/ "Intellectualt" peacemaking comment intending to put down person above]
They'd have problems thinking up a sequel name wouldn't they. Well there's always prequels.
"1: the events leading up to the number 2"
Wow, that looks pretty sweet for a lame-arse port.
