You know, I never really liked the gameplay of MGS4 that much. I don't know if it's the fact I can't be bothered with it's stealth mechanics, or that you can't really get immersed too far before you hit a cutscene.
Talking of the cutscenes though, they WERE fantastic.
they must have put a lot of money into this, as it's coming out on PC, PS3 and 360. Why no publicity?

for a game coming out in Autumn, it's surprising that nothing's been said. About 3 items on GamesPress too, which shows how little Activision are trying to sell this.
someone over at another post said something about the PS3 disk also containing the original film. Not bad.

Some nice clean graphics, looks like a polished title.
I feel the same way about ones with few powerups, enemy types and poor pacing (price of upgrades etc) but apart from that it's a solid formula.
Still wouldn't pay for one though.

I loved my PSP since first purchase. Then again, I was on the warez scene since that day too.
I love small gadgets which can do as much as the PSP. My main entertainment coming from looking around to see what people will do next with it. My PSP's been hiking across mountains in Scotland to evening entertainment at city campsites.
Versatile and Robust - probably my favourite gadget right now.

R3 was a lot slower and easy to tire of than 4 in my opinion.
I prefer the controls of 3 more, but 4 otherwise has got the gameplay DOWN.
Reminds me of Space Invaders Extreme - not in gameplay of course, but in concept.
Good idea to reinvent the series by making it something completely different. Better than an uninspired spinoff anyday. So anybody for Monopoly: Everybody Hates Chris?
