Why would Sony need to make it clear that you cant move your account from console to another console. Does any console make make this clear? What about Epic games why have they not made this clear. Ohhhh wait they want you to spend more money, money you may have already spent and that's ok with them as long as they can put they blame on someone else and in this case it's Sony's fault.
How is being crystal clear on no cross-play with Xbox and Nintindo in the Fortnite game a BS move. Sony has has been very clear about this. Add to that the overwhelming majority of PS4 gamers do not care in the least about cross-play and those few PS4 gamers that do want are not demanding it. Sony has said "no" now Xbox and Nintindo gamers should stop crying about it and move on.
I don't understand how anyone could assume they could just take their account from one game on one system and move it to another system. Someone is trying to blow this into a big deal when it's not at all.

How exactly is Sony not supporting their consumers on this issue and to be clear their consumers are the PS4 gamers? The PS4 gamers are not asking for cross-play and in no way demanding it with Xbox gamers so how exactly are they in the wrong? I'm sure a few of the 80 million PS4 gamers would like to see cross-play with many more not caring either way and that leaves the rest of the 80 million PS4 gamers taking a hard pass on gaming with the Xbox crowd. Based off your comment it seems you are sure that there is a demand from the PS4 gamers that they want cross-play when Sony is positively sure there is little to no PS4 gamer demand in fact the only ones demanding Sony fall in-line are Xbox gamers and Microsoft exces. Time to face facts little to no PS4 gamers that want cross-play and until they do Sony has no reason to give in.

I don't see the big deal of doing cross-play so as a mostly ps4 gamer with a very little Nintendo Switch and PC mixed in I hope Sony stays their course. But with that said if they do give in and go cross-play I hope they a option not to CP in MP games leaving a PlayStation only option available and if they do this then I'll have no issue with it. IMO Sony has their exclusive calendar full for at least the next 12 to 18mos if not 2yrs so really no room for Bloodborne 2. Also Sony will want the same dev to make the next BB and their kinda busy for now. 2 million copies, 2 million copies for any new IP that a 1 platform exclusive is in no way a "failure". Sure the game had some issues but for the most part the people that actually played the game enjoyed it. Myself I loved the story and would like to see a sequel.

As I recall when TitanFall 1 was released we were told non-stop, daily from the time TitanFall was revealed at E3 2013 till release that TitanFall was gonna be the best FPS ever, the "Call of Duty killer"! And it was gonna be the Xbox one "killer app"......Then it released on Xbox one and XB360 and it was a flop as it was neither the Call of Duty killer or the X1 killer app and best FPS, really? . Not many would hop off the TitanFall hype train and into the TitanFall game...
Can't say I agree with you on the cross-play. Also calling Sony's unwillingness to Cross-play with Xbox a "anti-gamer stance" is rich when there is little to no demand for for cross-play with Xbox. Until the PS4 gamers demand in mass cross-play with Xbox any mention of cross-play is a waste of time. IMO.
You bring up BC and though BC is a good option to have it is clearly part of the lack of gamers playing the multiplats and current gen games on Xbox Live. The more gamers playing BC the less to have playing current gen games like TitanFall 2, Ghost Recon WL, Halo 5, Forza 7 and so on. Now some will point out that of the 30 to 35million XBL gamers only a small percent play BC and this may be true but if any of them are gaming in a BC game their part of the XBL problem and it's a problem ...
