To simply put it, it's a cash grab! Seems odd but when the other Game maker... Lets call them Sony. When Sony does this no matter the project or the cost of it, it could be a game, DLC or even something like this a F-22 Raptor which BTW is a badass plane. Sony is immediately called out and dragged but for some reason such as in the case of this the F-22 Raptor Microsoft will get a free pass.... Now I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing beca...
I think that clearly the issue is some gamers want to play coop campaign but have little interest in hunting people down to run the campaign while knowing that most people including their friends have moved on from Halo. This game has been nothing but problems from the start and I get that Halo has not had campaign matchmaking but that has little to do with today and not having it now adds more fuel to this dumpster fire. Microsoft should have seen this issue coming and added matchmaking.
No offense but VR is in a pretty good place and the Quest 2 VR unit alone is selling better than the Xbox Series consoles. I don't think where VR is has anything to do with the Splinter Cell VR cancellation any issues The Splinter Cell project had or has is 100% a Ubisoft problem they have a serious leadership problem at all levels and clearly have no idea what their doing anymore. Ubisoft got lost in the GASS chase wilderness and can't find their way out.
Its a console exclusive because Sony help pay for development and then bought the rights for the gamers on the Sony platform this happens all the time. Now for those that don't want a Sony Gaming console you can still gain access through the PC version of the game its a win, win for all gamers.
Then this should be a good life lession..... Expect changes at every turn and learn to make good sound decisions so you can avoid disappointment. The game Developers and Publishers are just adjusting so the can make the most $$$ possible which is the reason their in the game business and its the same in every business.
Why would anyone have issue with this game? Its F2P and no one is forcing people to send money on the gear and they have to make money somehow its a live service game like all other live service F2P games they need to make $$$.
Sounds like Microsoft needs another 2022 Copium Event and so Doon after the last one. I guess the one last month didn't take so well and if they don't start releasing First Party games before end of year this one won't either.
They seem to be trying so I guess that's good and it could be so much worse at least its not that F2P dumpster fire that's burning outta control that's over at Microsoft. Lol
I could see great value if Microsoft was releasing 5 or 6 First Party games every year day one on Game Pass but they'll never be able to do this. Microsoft releases a First Party game so infrequently its a moot point to bring up when talking about Game Pass and what you have left is mostly little Indy games that no one would even think about without this service.
Looks enough like Nioh for me.....Day 1 PS5 may replay on Xbox later.
Wow...Fallout 5 after Elder Scrolls 6 which is in pre-production and 3 to 4rs out maybe more and then Fallout 5 which would be a couple yrs after ES6. Microsoft did so well talking about what's hopefully coming in the next 12 months and not beyond that and then they felt the need to talk about something 4,5,6 maybe 7yrs down the road. I think everyone knew Fallout would be coming so why bother why talking about in now...crazy.
I never really cared for the Ninja Gaiden gms but I love Nioh 1 and 2 and I hope Wo Long is a Nioh 2 clone like.
Well, Microsoft still has a lots of time to change things with this game to get it better cause you won't see this released until 2024 at the soonest. Now before some of you keyboard warriors point out they showed a 2023 release date just remember they had a solid 11-11-2022 released date set in stone the day this game was announced and when it was delayed a couple weeks back they announced the 2023 First Quarter window and now just a few days later we get a "Sometimes in 2023"...
Microsoft could make a Spider-Man game nothing is stopping them. They just need to work with Marvel and maybe Disney.
There are some 45m Xbox One consoles and 15m Xbox Series consoles as well as the PC market. Microsoft is reporting the 20m number of all games sold and Game Pass where some could pay a little as $1 to play FH5 so 20m may look good but as the article says "its not the monthly active user number". The MAU is the more important number and there's a reason their not giving it out. I played it for a couple hrs on a Xbox Series S it does look pretty but its missed the fun factor and ...
A game is not a "banger" until it releases and millions purchase it and millions of gamers are still playing it months or years later. A game that has a huge budget and paid for hype that releases but gets the AAA label but fails to meet the millions sold with millions still playing it months and years after release bar is a flop.
Sometimes you gotta sleep in the bed you made. Microsoft moving up any First Party game for release would be a mistake but if they did push up a release date and it had any problems such as lack of content, broken or buggy this would be worse than just releasing Starfield as planned. Microsoft needs to get any FP game that they release right so if they don't have a unannounced First Party gm that was going to release in 2022 then that will have be good enough. They have other options like...
@Channel-Live
Halo Infinite was built on a new game engine built for Halo Infinite. Also a
new console, a massive game budget that was reported the biggest game budget for any game ever made.
Its was given a extra year in development. This game has more problems than 343i, Microsoft can deal with and they seem clueless on how to fix them. I'd be concerned at this point with Halo Infinite getting the Bleeding Edge treatment and Microsoft stopping the future u...
Bro I'm in no way a Microsoft guy but this thing VGCharts does is complete BS guessing and nothing more. Don't use these clowns as a source for anything.
@Abriael
Ok, so a third party is the one going for the cash grab.....that make you feel better? But i do have issue with "Microsoft is completely uninvolved" does it really need to be pointed out the Microsoft owns the IP and to say "Microsoft is completely uninvolved" is a reach much to far don't ya think?
