I can't agree. Games, all games cost a lot of money and a lot of time to produce.... to much of both. This game was made because the Developer and Microsoft thought it would deliver. Now maybe Microsoft didn't put money in it to over hype it like they've been known to do with other titles IDK but what I do know is Microsoft like any other Publisher or IP owner in gaming is not putting money into something they don't thin...

Not to offend in any way but I'm not sure you understand just how Microsoft does math. They count each device you log into as a sub not each sub they sell. So, take the average Xbox owner they'll own a OG XB1 he or she or it will also own a XB1 S and a XB1 X and the Digital XB1 and as a kicker they'll also have a Xbox Series S and X and has logged into GP on each device thats 6 subs and by the miracle of Microsoft, Xbox math that's 10 subs. Xbox GamePass was launched in June of 2017 that's going on 4yrs now and subs can be purchased for as little as $1. So with billion's of PC's, phones and mobile devices as well as Xbox Consoles that can run GP and still they can only get 18 million subs? As a GP subscriber its not that good of a service the Xbox First Party that releases day and date are not must play games and the biggest of the other games they put on the service such as GTA 5, Rainbow Six Siege and big titles ...
Damn, with 2 to 3 billion PC's in the wild globally with at least haif of them able to run GamePass and 37 million Xbox One consoles and 1.5million Xbox Series X consoles all able to run GamePass and no telling how many Smart phones. Do gamers really pay $500usd plus tax to play "classic" Halo? Pretty much everyone seen Craig and it became a joke..... Ummm still is. Nioh 2 is great and if you played the 1st Nioh you'll have no trouble. I think more gamers played the 1st Nioh.
Nioh 2 is not as tough to get to the level cap as Nioh 1 IMO and the DLC's add value to the game as does the Underworld it's must have game and if your a Demon\ Dark Souls, Bloodborne fan.

If only those "Day one First Party games" were must have, must play games but there not and I don't see a day when that changes even with Microsoft buying more gaming studios and producing more games. They maybe day one on GP but they will be multi-platform and one day in the $5 bin and maybe at that point be a must have game.
Agree 100%. Maybe Microsoft misread their base because those gamers have had enough and I sure hope so and it's about time. One things for sure though Microsoft will be back with another plan to get more money for nothing. Maybe next time it'll be a increase in the GamePass price which is what i think this increase was really about as putting big games on the service cost a lot more than the little Indy games or the Xbox 360 game or even the First Party games.

Good! Keep the PC hacks and cheats in their on lane. There should never be a game played where console gamers are forced to game with PC gamers IMO.
I would think any Xbox owner would 1st want great First Party games like both Sony and Nintendo have. All the other stuff is unimportant If you don't have great FP and there's not a single sign that points to Xbox ever having those kinda games.
To be fair it may well be as you say "a gem" but only to YOU when you play it but the reviews are in and a gem it is not!
