No Bro... Ubisoft was only doing as their marketing partner Microsoft asks\ paid them to do and that was to downgrade the ps5 version. And because sales had nothing to do with this (old game) they agreed to do it.

Sure Bethesda has made a decent game or 2 through the years but it's been years since the last one was released. So I guess we should "wait till E3 2021" or is "wait till E3 2022"? I guess we need for Microsoft to tell us when Xbox First Party will release their next decent game or what they hope will be decent.... Microsoft track record says it'll be years before they release a decent game but we'll see.... Hope for the best!
It's Microsoft's way of getting people to talk about Xbox and since they can't buy a studio to make a decent game it's their only option and based on lack of comments to this article here it's not working.
From Software games are either a Masterpiece or Game of The Year and sometimes both. Word of a new From Software game is like word of a new Lamborghini Its gonna get a lot of attention.
The Elden Ring was announced b4 the new consoles were announced and the added work for so many ports along with the Trump-19 virus has caused a slow down in the process. I'd say a release no later than Spring 2022 so a year at most.
I tried this last summer with a couple friends..... It did nothing for me and I've not gone back and very unlikely I ever will.

Though I don't care for the rental services I have for years now embraced the all digital media and only digital. Oh, I remember the days going to get a big game on its release day or at midnight...... No such problems anymore.

I agree 100% with what he said in his rant but as a developer you can't say that kinda stuff out loud. As a gamer saying that kinda thing on a comment board or on Twitter won't mean much but a industry insider such as a developer you will get some blow back even when speaking truth.
With that said he's right and IMO gaming has way to much of everything he complains about. Game developers over promising and can't deliver and there's no accountability for anyone. ...
Here's the thing about that 94 for GoW and The not 1 but 2 97's for Nitty. You could remove all 3 of those games as if they never happened and its not gonna dent either PS4 or Nintendo Switch sales. Its not all gloom and doom for Xbox fan. They can look forward to in a year or 2 when Microsoft will release another "worlds most powerful console" that will have a proper next gen controller and maybe be able to match all the current PS5 power and might.
I thinks its coming later this year. Yahoo Sports has an article out that says " later this year". Now this confirms nothing till EA steps up and confirms this but I'd not be surprised if it was released in July this year. They should have most all the assets in place already so I don't think they'll need another year or 2 but we'll seen....... Bout damn time!

Bad luck, or do they brings upon themselves? Sometimes people do just move on but sometimes they give the "focus on the family" as their reason because no one can question that and really all the person wants is to get out of a bad situation. We'll never know for sure but MS just having some as you say "bad luck" is very unlikely.
Plus Microsoft paid a chunk to have this title released on Day 1 on GamePass.
Post edit ...PS... after checking the Microsoft Xbox Top 50 current most play games on Xbox this game is not in the top 50 nor is it in the top 10 most played on GamePass. So either a ton of gamers are playing it on PC or Microsoft Gave the developer a crap ton of $$$. I'm not sure why the Developer just don't want to be upfront about that.

I can't disagree with a thing you've said. I to was onboard with the OG Xbox it was a great system that Microsoft bailed on waaaay to soon just to get the Xbox360 to market before Sony or Nintendo released their next gen system. This game was released in April 2019 That's 2 years ago and those that wanted it got it a long time ago. I don't think this hurts PlayStation in anyway and I'm sure they have data that shows this kinda move helps PlayStation in the end and if they data showed that it hurts PlayStation no way would they do this.
