Why do you think Vita is an overpriced device? Compare it to anything Apple makes or to any new mobile device and you see that Vita is reasonably priced.
It's a beast of a handheld gaming device. The absolute best out there and it is under 300 dollars. This is a good deal if you ask me.

Buttons and consoles have not become obsolete, nor will they in the next 6-8 years. God help us all if the tablet somehow replaces the console.
Tablets are awkward, overpriced and not meant to be a gaming device.
Consoles are convenient, utilize our nice TVs, and are solely meant for gaming.

It's an absolutely wonderful piece of hardware. The games look and play beautifully. All the games look far better than anything on PS2, and it's on a 5" screen in your hand. Simply awesome!

I still don't understand the point of building a character, making them unique to your style, making them ultra powerful and then you can't use it to fight other players.
It makes almost no sense to have all this customization for it to only be shown on your own TV.
These games by default need a multiplayer aspect so you can reap rewards of building up your guy by whooping on some other players along the way. Like Demons' Souls or Dark Souls.

I originally thought the idea of an entire game being based not on play control, but QTE's, was kind of silly. I figured it was a silly novelty that wouldn't grab the hearts of hardcore gamers.
I found out, like many others, that what it actually is is incredibly fun and different. It makes the game more of an interactive movie and you cannot replace that experience. Playing through Heavy Rain for the second time with The Move was a ton of fun too.

Why does a 10 year lifecycle have to mandate that a new console cannot be released? They will manufacture PS3 for at least 10 years. Nowhere in that claim does it say anything about a new system. Let alone the rule that they musn't make one in that decade.

The word combat, for Skyrim should be replaced with "swing weapon".
Skyrim does not have combat. It has silly fights with swinging.
The Souls games have combat. Combat implies that you can get better at it over time. Skyrim is based on leveling up and nothing more. Souls games you must learn a new weapon and learn to be proficient with it. That's combat.
