"Say what you want about Polygon"
Ok, they're shills.
Yes!
It looks amazing as can be. Part of that is due to not having to process enemies, control input and everything else that is going on during actual game.
Some don't want to admit it, but this isn't the actual game.
Right.
Somehow ppl confuse "in engine" as being actual game play.
Even if you're a SONY supporter, you can't speak common sense or you will be labeled a troll.
What's with everyone saying its not a cut scene?
No one is controlling Nate. No enemies are close by and there is no HUD. Bottom line is that this is NOT game play. Its a pre scripted sequence. A cut scene.
No matter how many times you run that sequence, it will always be exactly the same because it is pre scripted. There is no hit detection or controlling of the character.
I'm not saying the actual game won't look awesome,...
But my rig is super duper 100x better. PS4 is just a mid range unit, guys.
I just wanted to see what it felt like to be a douche.
Yeah but you're playing it on a PC!
Why are you confused? You're looking forward to it. Those who disagree obviously aren't looking forward to it.
The disagree button isn't rocket science.
If someone writes that they love having violent sex with 600 pound gorillas, you would most likely disagree, would you not? It works like that.
I'm very much looking FWD to trying Morpheus. Everyone I know who has tried it, says it's very very cool; and two of them prefer it over The Rift.
I find the classic black to be much better looking than that gaudy, butt ugly, concrete camo monstrosity. What the hell are we doing? Gaming or hiding in Tribeca?
Irritating?
I love it like that. You're out adventuring and someone interrupts your game and then its lit. Its on. Let that bastard have some!
Both people I have spoken to, who have tried both, enjoyed them both, but Morpheus was better in every facet.
Jury is still out though.
I got invaded and killed by a chick in a bikini, high heels and 2 poison whips. It was a good fight, but she killed me.
Only its not garbage. At all.
Camouflage?
'Murica!!
It absolutely matters when there are multiple units to choose from.
The marketplace dictates how important it is.
n4rc
I answered that way because the two are linked.
I was trying to say that one cannot just ditch the old when the new comes along due to development. They're linked.
I prefer the older games that relied on combos and skill.
The newer MK games are fun, but there are a lot of noobie characters who teleport and then into a 6 hit combo. That's not very cool. A real combo is executed on flat ground, nit by disappearing then reappearing behind your opponent and hitting him when he's airborn again and again.
The game needs to focus on actual combat again, rather than magical absurdness.
You're so hard and badass!
You must have to sleep on a block of solid ice to keep from melting through the floor and burning down your mansion!
Plz don't kill us, sir!
Yes you do.
Then end sequence when you complete a game is technically in game too, but you're not playing. You're watching. The ending doesn't respond to what you tell it to do. It is pre written to do one thing.
See what I'm saying? Too many ppl are taking "in game" and "in engine" to mean something they do not. Yes the scene is using the games engine, but no it isn't the actual game. Its a scripted scene which never changes. Game play chan...
