The experience IS the difficulty setting. Why should the developer dilute their product?
Man i finally beat him last night. That was nuts for sure. Took me maybe 40 tries.
Correct. The whole point of the game experience is the difficulty. It's From's vision and From's design. It is this way for a reason. Anyone familiar with their games knows why.
I got the game at launch and have only defeated Drunky, Butterbitch, Armor guy, and some mini bosses. Currently I just got shadowrush and plan to try the Ashina Roof again to defeat Genichiro. I have not even gone into Sunken Valley yet. I only have 3 attack power and the game is ...
Is it hard, yes. Very. Is it impossible? No. There are candy items to buff and a guy to train with. Skill trees to grind and so forth. If an area is too hard, then go to another or grind some skills.
I dont understand this idea that Sekiro is way too hard. Practice.
NioH was hard. The DLC was the hardest game I ever played.
All three endings but you spell the game wrong?
Right. I like blue, so Rembrandt should have used more of it..
FromSoft makes the game this way for a reason. The reward is the difficulty. Eat some candy and learn the game.
Takes a lot of work to get that good, so to show off and do this is a reward for some. It's not easy getting that good. Many hours.
I nearly had him last night. A couple more deflections and he would be dead. He piss me off with those arrows from up in the air.
I suppose if Sekiro were dressed like an archetypical ninja, players would be more apt to deal death blows from ledges and wall hugs. Sekiro appears to be a regular dude with a prosthetic arm and a sword and its easy to forget he is shinobi.
Look the part, be the part.
Miyazaki's games are a cut above. They're cerebral and hard and they have an artistic aspect which other games just do not have. CoD is basically hammered poopy compared to FromSoft games.
To me, the NioH DLC was the most absurd hard game I ever played and Sekiro is making that look simple. This game is seriously difficult.
This game is grinding my soul into dust! I got the ogre beast and continued on and defeated General Tenzu and then a giant, and I mean GIANT snake ate me up. I went back to Drunkard in Estates and got destroyed. I only have 3 gourd bottles and I am getting my butt kicked in. Oh I love it. Anyone else getting their butt kicked badly like me?
It's more needed. Don't let them ever see you.
Same here. It's tough as nails.
It will be understood eventually. I was one of the original guinea pigs in Demons' Souls before any wiki existed and it was brutal. Truly brutal. Like that game though, eventually the disease and all its nuance will be understood.
I am only on the Drunkard now and I am tempted to start over so I can clean my dragonrot slate and have less deaths.
They're similar. I play and keep thinking i am playing NioH with no Yukai or whatever the deemins were called.
Right, nit is it necessary. Don't listen to the above comment. That type of stuff is basically claiming that no one could have had fun gaming from 1978-2004. Absurd.
It doesn't matter. Bloodborne was so phenomenal that you're not thinking about frames. You're thinking about how fun and awesome the game is.
It's relative. After 30 mins of play it is all good. You adapt and overcome.
It's difficult for sure. Are you talking about the white hooded trident spear guy who thrusts you? I just got him a couple hours ago. You have to hide and get one killer blow in and then you have to either use the axe to bash him or use the skill where you can step on his thrust and then immediately slice him while he's open.
This game is fun, but I too am having a hard time having to unlearn everything I have done during thousands of hours from Demons' throu...
They're made for players who dont want their hand held. That's all. People who like to read books, watch a film without looking at their phone. Adults.
People who beat games, not watch them on Twitch.
