In hindsight, especially over the last twenty years, it most often is.
People were better off prior to the cellular device revolution.
This is absolutely absurd, but doesn't surprise me in the least. It's there.
That hospital mission was fun.
Neither did I.
I missed out on Bully the first time. I downloaded it maybe 3 or 4 years ago and couldn't finish it. It was way too PS2ish. I grew up playing Galaga and Atari and Coleco and yet Bully couldn't do it for me.
I say, create a new IP and get bizzy!
Wtf?
You lose all credibility.
Correct.
Most other reviews forgot that gaming is fun. I had fun while playing Atari Adventure, and I have a lot of fun while playing Days Gone. All the rest is nonsense.
I disagree 100%. The facts are that the game is a lot of fun. I do not consider acting and genres while holding my dualshock and smiling or laughing.
You're putting the game to such intense scrutiny that you've forgotten what gaming is for. It is a release. An escape from life to another universe where we can forget our actual issues and focus on something else and lose ourselves. In that regard, Days Gone nails it.
A sequel will be much appr...
The names match the acting. They're B style. Deacon St. John? Come on lol. That's from an 80s adult film right there.
That's fairly early and you're going to run into bosses which make you question your sanity.
Fun is word. When I play I have so much fun.
I dont get the rush I get from Sekiro, or the emotional element that I got from TLoU, or GoW, but I have a blast!!
Yes!!!! That's when I plug my cans into the Dualshock and listen to the night! Freakers right or left!!!??? Where are they!!!???
Days Gone is stellar.
It's a solid 8 minimum. It's impossible to play and not laugh out loud and or have fun 90% of the time.
RDRII was the opposite and felt more like labor and received much better scores.
Writers failed to actually play it?
I say that with a straight face since I give the game a 9. An objective 9. The game is so fun and has its own personality and Bend remembered fun.
Oooh! OOOH! I know I know!!!
It isn't broken like Skyrim or boring and fascist like RDR-II so it gets rated differently, Mr. Cotter.
Oh man please do. Sekiro is too fun and must be finished.
Correct. Though, timed and exacting, the deflecting is a way to destroy anything. In Bloodborne you roll and whack. Sekiro goes from the hardest to the easiest.
This game punishes Souls muscle memory and downright tortures your Bloodborne muscle memory. I have found that for me, the clicking point of git gud happened around 30 hours. It was around the old man Owl fight that I became a Sekiro master.
You must unlearn what you have learned.
It's not sensitivity. It is calling out double standards. Games like RDRII and Skyrim sell across all platforms and therefore receive different judgement.
Days Gone is both more beautiful and more fun than either of the previous two.
Nice list.
