That console you linked is a monstrosity. That thing looks like the Freedom Tower console or Pyramid Head's console.

No matter what SONY does, they will never pry away the the XBox fanbase of COD and Justin Beiber dance games. XBox has that on lockdown.
What SONY needs to continue to do, is the continue making great exclusives. They have seemingly already made sure their next console is developer friendly. The rest of the way is more of a foregone conclusion. A coronation if you will; not a glorious victory.
If it is, it will likely be the same situation as the previous gen, w/ the more powerful hardware being neglected in many cases for the more developer friendly hardware.
Kinect
Justin Beiber or any similar celebrity jumping around stage, showing off Kinect features.
No baby animals of any sort.
Just a powerful machine w/ a great lineup of games will suffice.

Core gamers don't want to be bothered with novelty add ons. They want games, great games, and great games that work w/ the tried and true method of controllers.
Im posting about the article. The article is claiming buzz. There still has yet to be actual buzz.

Actual truth says there is much less buzz for Microsoft's next console. Post official announcement, it will be greater than it is now, but I do not think it will reach PS4 buzz. I say this because the PS4 buzz is the highest of any machine in about 10 years.
Microsoft's next console will not generate as much buzz, period.
It does not matter what they show or do not show. Whatever they do show will have its buzz and then on to E3.
The PS4 buzz was loud and proud and the sudden surprise of its announcement just added to the hype. It is going to ride that momentum to launch and beyond and nothing Microsoft does can alter that. Microsoft buzz will be big in the USA, but still not touch the PS4 buzz.
Good thing I rent then. No way I am going to pay 70 bucks for a 12 hr game. That's pure madness.

Their purpose is not to cause the light to change quicker. What they actually do is cause the light to stay green for you longer. If you do not press the button, you will barely have ample time to cross the street. When you do press the button, you will see the digital signal to cross when the light changes. You are also granted an additional 15-20 seconds.
So the crosswalk button does indeed do something.
I love the Vita too. I think most who own one do. It's just capable of what no other handheld is, and that's great.
It is however, lacking some titles we would all love to see. Couple that with the absurd dedicated memory card, in an age where memory cards are the one universal non headache, and you have a problem.

Take the Force Unleashed series, well both of the lame 4 hour games, and burn them all.
Begin anew with some real Star Wars stuff. Not fluff, not vanilla games designed to ride on the name, but actual games with promise!

Microsoft does the exact same thing with WP. I love WP over Android and iOS actually, but they make life difficult for all those involved in the process of bringing the user the latest.
They do need a personell overhaul. The way they do things is radically wrong.
Xbox One looks very vanilla.
