Toys don't scan u to see if you're viewing ads, in an attempt to move them on you in the future. Toys don't require ownership rights when you loan them out, and toys certainly don't require a daily check in.
lol! Yeah.
Sony fans are afraid of it. Its so much better than a more powerful, not online required, commercial riddled camera box.
Come on, man. No ones afraid. We are collectively bashing the awful restrictions. I would think any sensible gamer could be on board with that.
Don't get me wrong, the controller is ergonomic and the triggers are superb again.
That said, it still has wonky batteries, no USB and lets be honest, if the controller is the highlight of your games expo reveal, then just call in sick.
Sony showed only their joystick for the console reveal. They didn't even have a final design console to show yet or they were waiting for hype. Still it was a proper setting to show off the new stick.
I actually don't mind the console's look at all.
I was an 80s kid though. I like simple. No one is gonna stare at the box anyway.
I would use a mobile turd if was a great top of the line functioning device. Aesthetics mean little in comparison to what it was built for. Come on now.
I went into the article with an open mind. I saw call of duty and the controller!
How am I supposed to react? Laugh?
I was brutally honest.
We want games not tv and Facebook, period.
How anyone could think otherwise is simply beyond me.
I don't want to talk to my tv. That's what the guide button is for.
My console is for state of the art exclusive gaming experience.
That's what we want. Honestly, in an age where the mobile device rules the roost in terms of surfing, Facebook and Skype, why would anyone want, let alone need to do that on their tv gam...
No.
They have made a monumental, death inducing mistake.
Awesome!
always online isn't a good thing and whether or not your system is hooked up anyway doesn't matter lol.
Irs just a way to force live subscriptions and DRM down our throats.
Are you reading properly?
MS console needs to be on data daily so nanny can check up on you.
PS4 needs no data connection to play.
How is that similar again?
Or bias?
Call of Duty and the controller which uses AA batteries?
Please tell me you have more than this to predict a solid showing. Changing channels and call of duty are two reasons why the reveal was a disaster of biblical proportions.
Green button difficult?
Now you're just babbling. Plug and play is easier. No one debates this but you. In order to receive and utilize the highest settings you have to spend an awful lot. As opposed to 400 for a playstation and it is what it is. Cheaper is easier. I dont know what monkeys and green buttons have to do with it, but I know console gaming is cheaper. I'm not knocking steam. I think you're just mad ppl like consoles. What's your deal?
Yeah its preference.
I just happen to prefer ease of use and Sony exclusives, as do most other gamers.
But gaming on consoles has been most ppls choice for decades for a reason.
PC gaming comes with so many strings attached and you miss out on so many great titles.
They're not out yet. Its not too late to resist and buy smart.
Way to spin using 80s tech.
My launch sixaxis still works fine. Batteries are for tv remotes. Now you have a family of those tv controllers. Your tv controller has the best triggers too.
Thuper!
Gamefly awaits next gen
yes but some have refused to accept this due to their console of choice having manufactured DRM.
We know it's old.
We will have to say it again after E3 too.
Haha.
Great! Again!
Some fanboys are still yelling LALALALALALALALALALA
But Gamefly is alive and kicking and us gamers rule the day!
Corporate masters 0. Gamers 1
Now we must all reject the MS implementation of the 3 most disgusting letters and greediest acronym and it will be a flawless victory!
So if I loan out my Dante's Inferno to my friend and his account now has code, what's the point of the code? Can he give it back to me? Seriously. What's the point then if there is no fee? Only if a retailer buys it, then the fee is passed along to us?
I'm not understanding exactly.
With this model you still can't borrow games. Lending a game won't cost the borrower because he will be the new defacto owner lol. I have to pay to ...
Looking like its going to be impossible. If you miss the initial launch wave, you're probably going to have to wait a little while. The length of that wait is what will decide many things.
Sony needs to do what the Soviets did during the war. Dedicate an entire city to manufacturing the new console. Call it Playstation-shima, or PSaka. Keep those bad boys rolling along like marbles downhill.
