With Saga it would seem like that WERE heading this way. Then they forgot they did that game, went back to the on rails shooters. The series has never been thought of as relevant OR cool since.
I feel like this game is about where the Panzer Dragoon series should have been by now.
Well, there is a screen that shows an XBOX One controller so I guess we can at least cut PS4 out.
Does it seem strange that all we see of Dark Souls 3 is Xbox? I know from is putting it out on both of course but it just seems odd that PS4 doesn't seem to be the lead platform.
So I'm wondering if MS has a gimped system (compared to PS4) because they didn't design the thing to run on the hardware only. I'm sure MS wouldn't admit to it but has anyone heard anything like this?
Because its so difficult to know where the meta will go, I'd say the question should rather be, "is Hearthstone worth your time." Because, if it is, The Grand Tournement (and Goblins V.S. Gnomes, and both Adventures) would certainly be.
Ok...but Final Fantasy XIII-2 is also on that list....so....
So here's a thought that occurs to me. Obviously certain games are black and white, honest to goodness influential. They do something interesting, often sell well, and those two things make it so a bunch of other people imitate it's ideas.
But how about the games that are more abstractly influential? You could say Final Fantasy XIII was influential in there being less big budget JRPGS because of it. I think you could say that the cheapness of remasters (relative to sa...
I don't play multiplayer much and have a tendency to get sick of things the more I have of them. So, I loved the first game, liked the 2nd, couldn't wait for the 3rd to be over and didn't even bother with Judgment.
Let the dislikes....BEGIN!
I really hope Sony somehow puts this in the PS4. I have PS3 games I can't play (my machine died some months back) but on they off chance Sony figures this out I'll probably hold on to them.
I just got a PS4 and I'm not sold on the ergenomics. I've had every major system in every generation and I've always leaned towards the feel of MS's controllers. There's something...off about the DS4 tho. I think it mostly has to do with how my fingers wrap around the curved edge of the shoulders. I don't feel like I'm getting the support I do from the 360 contoller. Oh well, I'm married now and only plan on having one system this go around. So I better get us...
If you really want to stick it to Konami then show them they were wrong to demand Kojima not make a game that cost as much as this one did. Heck, buy 2 of em! Make the game a multi million seller and let Konami regret they wont get another game like this by Kojima's hands.
Then, a few years from now, when they inevitably release a NEW MGS (cuz they make money, Konami just wants it on a tighter budget), boycott THAT game.
Kinda confused at the ordering of the list...seems like Bloodborne should have been higher, for example.
I really wanted this game. Then my PS3 died. My wife got me a PS4 for my birthday so now, unless they port it over, I shall not be playing the game.
I'm actually doing pretty much the same thing. This past weekend I went through the 2 MSX games and probably today I'll start MGS 3. After that I should be all caught up.
Personally, I view the Metal Gear series (specificly Solid and after) as having been born In the story telling sweet spot of game development history. It came after the era that only understood itself as games (mario, sonic, ec.) But before the era of extreme hand holding and limited interactive inno...
Yeah, it's hard for me to say anyone who wants one shouldn't wait till black friday. But I just got a PS4 so it's all academic for me.
Same for me. I think if they announced this game a year+ ago it would have been harder to keep myself from enjoying the drip feed of info. The quick turn around from reveal to release has made it work out though.
Ok, so holiday 2016 CD releases Rise of the Tomb Raider: Game of the Year Edition" for XBOX One and PS4. I'm good with this. I really liked the reboot but between Fallout 4 and Metal Gear 5 my late 2015 is going to be busy enough.
I'd care. I got a bunch of PS3 games for my birthday (in nov.) And chridtian last year. Then January hit and my system died. It would just be a lot easier if I could just pop them in my PS4.
I found it interesting that the game had an early 2016 release date and still only had a teaser to show at E3. If this game is far enough along that they hit their intended release window, then I'm guessing there is a bunch they can show off.
So, in short, I think we can certainly see some gameplay for this thing tomorrow.
My impression of the PSP was that it didn't do crazy well at first. Then, quietly, it just kept gaining small amounts of momentum (mostly in Japan). Now, looking back, it sold something like 80 million units. Im not sure the Vita could pull off 80 million systems sold but the pattern of quiet japanese adoption seems the same.
