Then they make a list of exclusive PS3 games and nitpick on them.
Fact is, Killzone 2 is AAA, Infamous is AA, and Demon Souls(I think) is AA.
The xbox360 has had what? Ninja Blade? I'm not trying to bash the xbox360 I'm just trying to shut the fanboys up.
that I wouldn't be so quick to call it GOTY.
The games, in the end, will decide which console is most prepared for another 4-5 years. That and marketing, which Sony needs help in(big time).
I don't like motion sensing at all so Natal didn't get my attention. Anyway, I can't wait to get AW and Mass Effect 2!
the GTA franchise has sold more than Saints row, and GT5 as a franchise has sold more than Forza, so GT5 is the GTA of racing.
LOL, I love the xbox fans.
you make xbox360 fanboys look. The media falls easy for Ms's marketing, and with Natal, MS makes the media look foolish.
This is like last year, Microsoft just shows more multiplatform games and tries to pass down new tech as something revolutionary.
I think it is a matter of opinion. Some fanboys here are saying that most sites and most of the gaming community think that MS won E3, and obviously, this is BS. A few sites and polls don't speak for millions of gamers. Obviously polls will show that MS wins because the xbox360 has had time to build a very large install base.
Seriously, I find it ironic that this is coming from "xboxevolved" when a few days earlier fanboys were laughing at PSextreme for saying that So...
release a PS3 slim, or a stripped down PS3 and just cut $100 off? It sounds better than just cutting the price of the current 40gb and losing even more money.
Either way, as a gamer, Sony's console is the right price, but they can sell more units if they play their cards better.
As a gamer, if I was as blind as some of the journalists and fans, I would see Natal as the next big thing, so I can play Halo:reach without a controller or fight in the UFC games and whatnot.
Obviously, that is not the case, but I'm sure MS would like you to believe that.
However, we all know this Natal project is just another attempt to tak a piece of Ninty's market until it has proven itself.
Going casual is not bad, it is bad however when only a few of your system's lineup contains hardcore titles that we've seen about 10 times before. Add that to the fact that the system lacks big name PS3/Xbox360 shooters and action games.
I've seen "innovation" this gen, and only a few times has it been applied correctly.
What do you want from these new IPs and sequels? As far as innovation goes I'm assuming the author is referring to motion sensing, if thats the case, no thanks.
I hope they support L4D2 with DLC, its not the type of game you want to start a trilogy about, seeing as the strongest part of the game was the multiplayer.
Sad that they had to go casual in order to take the throne again. :/
I wonder if Destructoid knows what Drift is.
Anyways, the graphics of this game are simply stunning.
EDIT:Sonyslave and whydis, wait am I in the open zone? Why are your bubble counts so low?
And I agree, the Wii and motion sensing go hand in hand with consumers, and as you said natal and the ps3's motion sensing thing will need strong marketing, which makes me think that both companies are just trying to beat at a stone wall here.
little man.
*sigh* here we go.
Anyway, Uncharted 2 easily takes GOTS, followed by GOW3, and then Alan Wake which sold me instantly.
