My favorite sandbox game this gen is GTA4( I know it was overrated but still good), followed by Red Faction, and then Infamous.
I haven't played Prototype but I plan on renting it.
Sony still has its first party games(Uncharted 2), GT5, and God of War 3.
really duh, its funny cause that chicken dog game will be developed by a very talented group of developers, but you wouldn't know that.

agree that Infamous is better. But I don't care care, I didn't get niether prototype or infamous, I'm holding out this holiday to get Assasins Creed 2.

PS3 owners can just get it on the PC if they want it, looks like they don't need much of a rig from looking at the outdated graphics.

the game is great really no doubt, but you need to stop blaming PS3 fanboys.
You need to chill on the haterade.
First of all, stop checking under your bed for the big bad scary ps3 fanboys. Second, rarely do I hear from devs that the consoles are equal in performance. The xbox360 is easier to develop for because devs have come accustomed to its' hardware. Third, Alan wake doesn't look better than Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2, whch have more things goin on than just shadows.
Honestly, the AW graphics are imo slightly better than those of Gears of War 2. But, they are different games, so who knows.
Nobody thinks that the xbox360 is maxed out, just that it is limited, more than its competition.
Anyway, I can't wait to get this game!!
They simply have a different approach to their install base and business.
Personally and surprisingly, I like Nintendo's approach. Make a low cost gimmick system and make millions out of it. Simple, yet effective.

I'm not bashing this tech, it's great, but a part of me thinks that it might turn into another magnet to attract casual gamers and not really push the hardcore gaming. I hope I'm wrong.
