Never really got into Splinter Cell, something about it never felt as great as MGS, but this current gen I think Conviction will sell me on the series.

I have nothing against this game, I love the graphics, but something about the gameplay always seems out of place, for those who do enjoy it, have fun.
With marketing and a low price tag, you can easily fool consumers into buying anything. People have become very stupid when it comes to buying products.
having a pet in a game is one thing, having a pet with an avatar that you can barely control is another. But if you find it entertaining, good for you, maybe I'm just a cranky 17 year old. :)
This avatar thing is cool..but..you honestly can't do much with the avatars, although obviously it is better than just having a small barely visible image as your avatar, it is a good step forward.
When you ignore the sales and look at quality, the Wii is complete garbage compared to the xbox360 and PS3.
I now see that ths console war is an immature craze between geeks that are simply bored. For the real gamers, there is no console war, just consoles to own and games to play.
Infamous is a better game, thats what counts.

So until the xbox360 gets a game that at least competes in graphics, saying that the PS3 can't keep up is plain dumb.

If Bungie can give Halo the graphics of say...Bad Company, that would be more enough. I'm sure the fans will buy it regardless of the graphics.

as for a true sequel of MGS4,(not another spinoff, a true sequel) we will have to wait quite a bit imo.
