GT5 is possibly Sony's strongest game sales wise. Combine this with a PS3 slim, which is what Sony needed right from the start, and combine this with (hopefully) more marketing, and Sony gets the win immediately. Only way they would fail would be because the consumers don't become aware or it is too late already.

But hey, I don't find it surprising, these are the same people that think halo is the best game ever. lol
The sales defenitly make this game a must-have.
This gen has taught me that sales shouldn't matter that much to gamers.

Remember that before the xbox360's price cut the PS3 was outselling the xbox360. People are going to go for the console they see on Tv and the cheapest one, thats the xbox360.
It will be a huge online multiplayer game and a good one if everything goes well.
First halo was the best FPS I played, second Halo was great too, Halo 3 was just good, not amazing, not the second coming, it just did many things right. IMO, Call of Duty is now the best FPS franchise, halo is no longer the Halo I first played a long time ago. Sorry, but I'm not one of those 13 year olds who falls into "teh epic scifi shootah" , I like realistic games with good gameplay.
And I thought gaming was all that mattered in a console, I guess MS doesn't think so.
If somebody saids GT5 is the best, I would be just as bothered because they are starting a flamewar. For every genre we have games that shine the most, but we need to realize that there are other factors involved in classifying a game as the "best", such as personal opinion.
Defenitive racing game, LOL, please Burnout probably plays better. You guys are use to playing with those plastic looking graphics anyway.
$60 and it includes a mic, best deal you can get imo.
