....just beat it last night, and can't wait for the next part. It's funny that people claim the platforming is bad...when it's EXACTLY like Tomb Raider/ Uncharted....and a buttload of similar games. The gunfights are fun, and the explosive and electric environmental hazards make it fun to experiment with taking enemies out.

Um....that's called and ADVERTISEMENT...which is COMPLETELY different from what I'm talking about here. This was Sony, attempting to dupe devs and attendees at E3 into thinking the PS3 was capable of doing more than it actually could, drum up support at launch. If you don't know the difference...stay the hell out of grown-ups conversations.

...MAYBE this time next year. By that time, the 360S and Kinect will have price drops, and we could even have some solid info on the next-gen (at least for MS and Nintendo).
But Sony will be content to use the PS3 like they have the PS2, and play clean-up this gen. They're just now barely making a profit, so the next 4-5 years are crucial for them getting out of this gen alive.
Just like the 360 RROD and the recent 360S release are responsible for a certain amount of multiple-purchases, the PS2 had the disc-read problems (which Sony didn't cover with warranty), and the Slim, which accounted for a lot of purchases. In other words, there's really no way to know how many "unique owners" there are for any given console. Factor in used console sales...both for re-purchases AND for first-time purchases, and the whole numbers game is COMPLETELY irrelev...

1.) I was merely pointing out that this "news" was lame and pointless...especially given the paltry sum ($5.7 million...really??) being reported.
2.) The PSN would not EXIST if not for the runaway success of XBL/XBLA...and that is a FACT.
....MS raked in about 10x that amount in August, in XBL Gold subs ALONE. Why should anyone care though?
...Newegg can't compete with Amazon (on games). Amazon REGULARLY has $20 coupons with high-profile game pre-orders, has free release-day delivery (with Prime anyway...not sure without it), and regular discounts on MS points and XBL Gold.
...no buy, for me. Not even used or a rent. Fixed-camera action/adventure 3rd person games are more annoying than a Saved By The Bell all-day marathon.
