...but yes, The Pitt nearly killed it for me. I've never seen a game stutter/freeze so much, for no apparent reason, as it did in The Pitt. At it's best, the framerate was probably around 15-18 FPS.
...I'm done with Bethesda. I really doubt TESV will be an MMO though...this is was pretty much shot down a long time ago by Todd Howard, and I doubt things have changed. If they wanted to make an MMO within TES universe, so be it...just don't expect non-MMO fans who ARE fans of the series to play it.
To be honest, if TESV isn't running on iD's Tech5 engine, I'll likely just wait for a used copy of a GOTY to show up, rather than continue to support Bethe...
...in the last 2 words of my post. What part of "crappy wheel" did you not understand?
...but it's also USELESS, and therefore not really a bonus. A $40 coupon toward the purchase of a Logitech wheel would be a MUUUUCH better offer than a free crappy wheel.
Look at all the scared Sony fantrolls in here. They have NOTHING to talk about for the PS3 until next year, so they waste their pathetic lives trolling positive 360 articles. So sad....way to go, N4G mods.
I'm betting no....maybe just played the demo.
I DID buy it...and it's actually not as bad as some reviewers make it out. For a downloadable game, it was pretty good. A lot of reviewers are just slamming it because of how long it took, and because of it's short length.
The game has a bit of an old-school feel to it, which I liked...reminded me of some classic TPS/Action Platformers like Syphon Filter, Tomb Raider, and WinBack. And the physics ...
...just STFU, or GTFO..pick one. We're talking about how long some games have taken to release...PERIOD. No mention was made about when they may or may not have been "officially announced". Alan Wake wasn't "officially announced" until last year's E3 either http://oxcgn.com/2009/06/02... . Now what? Nothing, that's what...stop it with your butthurt ...
"Gt5 was only "officially" announced last year"
You CAN'T be serious. Dude...GTFO with that bogus nonsense. :o
iD never does demos.
...you "assume" too much. You WON'T be getting "all" of the DLC for free....bank on it. You'll get what was free to those who pre-ordered, and likely 1 or 2 of the smaller early DLCs. You'll likely still have to pay for 'Overlord' and 'Lair of the Shadow Broker'....maybe even 'Kasumi-Stolen Memory'. That's waaaay too much $$ left on the table for EA/Bioware to just give away for no reason. Those 3 together total $24.
"Sorry, correction, an enhanced version's coming to PS3, complete with DLC and several small but vital extras. It's as huge a deal for us as Gabe Newell taking to the stage at E3 to announce Portal 2 on Sony's machine."
What's that... "it's a huge deal FOR US"? Oh...you mean for us SONY FANBOYS I guess. Hahaha...biased journalism FAIL. You're not supposed to let your inner fanboy show, when you write for an "unbiased" w...
...I was hoping I'd get to see him WITHOUT the ridiculous looking dentures/bridge that make him look like the Orbit gum model.
...the game has just now only sold 3 million. Buying a used game from GameFly is worse than renting, if you want to support a dev and a particular franchise, because they get NOTHING from it. I was likely the reviews that (truthfully) said the game was short, with no replay value, and was too much like the first 2 GOW games that caused the slow sales, AND the early price drop to $49.99. It also started showing up everywhere used within the first week, which is never a good sign for a new r...
...the SDF is out in full force on this one. :D
"It has to be more...Sony said so!" Really? When MS announces their sales #s, you all call BS, and try that "shipped isn't = sold". If you think there's millions of copies of games sitting in warehouses that have been counted as "sold", you're retarded.
Fact is, GOW3...just like MGS4, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, and even GT5...were ALL games that would be so huge, they ...
...believes that's a Kinect-centric dilemma. It's common sense....if you're playing games that focus on MOTION, you need ample room to MOVE. The Kinect just has a very detailed calibration setup prior to first-time use, depending on your living conditions. To be honest, if you live in a cracker box apartment or a trailer, you probably need to be saving that gaming $$ for something more important...like a DP on a house.
...you only look cool, if you're holding a phallic object in your hand(s) while moving around and waving your arms? I see....
It was cool when it came out, but I tried to play it again last year, when the release date of RDR was announced, and it felt so dated. Kind of like Golden Eye...everyone holds it in such high regard, but it's really laughable now.
My list would have been:
1) Red Dead Redemption
2) CoJ:BiB
3) CoJ
4) Oddworld: SW
5) Red Dead Revolver
6) Darkwatch
GUN was garbage....the 360 version was an ugly, buggy PS2 port. And putting Wild Arms on that list is beyond retarded, when you still had CoJ, Outlaws, Lead & Gold , and others to choose from.
...and the graphics STILL looked like Saint's Row 2. WTF?
Started playing is, on Hard, at 10 A.M. yesterday...and finished at 4:30. That's 6.5 hours, for those that suck at basic math....so no, I was not impressed. It had it's moments, and as always the Frostbite engine kicks the COD engine in the nads....but I'd only give it about an 8/10, at best.
