yea i guess it does make sense, but i think it only applies to people who buy a lot of games. In my case, i already know what games i'm gonna buy as soon as they're announced, and i only change my mind if theres a really significant departure from what i was expecting.

I mean halo is made by bungie and now 343, and published by microsoft, but that has nothing to do with it. All halo games are always amazing. I didn't by halo wars, but cuz it wasn't made by a different dev, im just not into RTS games. But i did consider it, and that only cuz of the franchise.

Actually they barely spent any time on the remake, it was mostly saber interactive, and a small team of 343.
And it didn't take any time away from Halo 4 because Halo CEA was just a HD re-skin, it required no engine-making nor much effort of a full game.
No wayyy man, there's no face they could possibly show us that would do justice to masterchief's character. Think about it, he's obviously human so unless there's some crazy twist that reveals him to be something else, he can only have a generic human face.
I'd rather not know and have it be a mystery.
Actually it says "It's the best looking game on Xbox and any other consoles we ever made" so i don't know.
Of course it's not going to crazyy looking with all the sandbox gameplay and what not, but as long as it looks as good as crysis i'll be the happiest man.

Microsoft basically runs PC gaming, you can get into the technicalities and details but that's what the truth is. Yes i wasn't correct with the wording but my point is still valid.

first of all u smartass, the last 4 halo games have been completely xbox 360 exclusive, same with gears 2 and gears 3.
Alan wake, fable, and left4dead are console exclusive. Also you have to understand the competition for consoles has always been between ps3 and 360.
In that sense, even uncharted, resistance, killzone, and littlebigplanet are all console exclusives because they're all on psp and psp vita as well. Psp and Vita are owned by sony just like P...

what baffles me even more is that fact that developers, who aren't over these military fps games, continue to spend years of their lives developing the same military games over and over again.

That's the problem, 90% of the game is like watching a movie. It's good at being cinematic, but you get maybe 5 inches of space to move around and shoot.
It worked great up to MW2, but now they need to expand on more freedom, actual vehicle control. Playing MW3 i just couldn't understand why i wasn't amazed at all by the game, i got tired really fast.

5 people probably bought the game on PC, it would have another audience if it was released on consoles. And let's not forget it's already confirmed for consoles, just in the process of being ported.
