Secondly, I'm sure there will be some conflict but Locke isn't trying to kill him, he works for ONI and they probably want him to bring Master chief in.
It would be a cool mixture of characters though. Arbiter, Chief, and Locke in one game. Now we need some villains, who aren't typical like the Didact, he was a great character in the books but Halo 4 made him way too cliche.

Exactly, plus everyone has thrusters so you can easily dodge it if you're aware of your surroundings. It adds an interesting dynamic.
One hit melee from behind is technically overpowered to, but it makes you more aware, and the important thing is everyone has the ability!

It's just an amazing game, and the reviewers based the rating on how the game was last year. They've given us the halo collection for all the old school we can handle. Honestly if they made halo 5 old school, it would be basically halo 2 with better graphics. They can't keep doing that forever.
Halo 4's problem was load-outs, unlocks and uneven starts, which people didn't expect. Sure Halo 5 could screw up too, but it sure looks like they've fixed a lot of things. The early beta says a lot about how serious they are.
Well they've remade halo 2 just now. They can't be remaking halo 2 again next year. Halo 2 is amazing but it's a 10 year old game. We love saying oh make it like halo 2, but most of us don't know how the market works.
