Gears 4 woohooo! I can't wait to see more of this game. It sealed E3 for me, i really wasn't expecting to see gamepaly.
I wasn't talking about reception, Far cry 4 and Wolfenstein were 2 of the best FPS games of last year, but they're both on last gen hardware as well. And neither of them do anything oustanding for nex-gen.
Congratulations, but it doesn't change the fact that it's gonna be HUGE game.
Competitive MP is back with Arena mode, story is more deep and complex than ever, campaign is set to be way bigger than any of the past halo games. And 12 vs 12 with friendly and enemy AI just looks amazing.
It's cool if you're over it, but that's just your personal preferences.
You should also play halo reach! Maybe once backwards compatibility is added, in case u don't have a 360.
I was reading Halo: Fall of Reach earlier and literally just played the game, it's brilliant! And reading the books and backstory just adds so much more to the experience.
I know i got that, i was just saying that personally for me it's the most hyped. As far as the impression goes, I think there's a lot that people haven't seen in halo 5, we'll see when it releases.

Nothing spectacular, Halo 5 is probably the first redeeming nex-gen FPS game, can't wait for it!

Halo and Gears are still alive and that is EXACTLY why I support the xbox. It doesn't kill it's beloved franchises.
And all new IPs are added ON TOP of the existing franchises. I'm assuming you forgot Sea of thieves, Tomb Raider, Recore, Quantum Break, Scalebound did not exist 10 years ago? Google it if you don't believe me.
Speak for yourself, I'm more excited for halo 5 than any game ever. So far this entire gen I haven't played a really amazing FPS game, and Halo 5 seems like it's gonna set the record straight!

It really is Xbox's best lineup in history if you think about. Granted xbox has always been short on exclusives, I think the last time it was this good was in 2006-2007 with Gears of war, Halo 3, Mass effect, and Bioshock all releasing on xbox 360 as exclusives (console). Some of the greatest games of last-gen.
