I'm sure it is going to be a good game, but it's(reportedly) only 8-10 hours long. HS got a couple of point knocked off of several reviews because it was about that long. Since the graphics arent that good, that should be another fraction of a point. gameplay will be great, im sure, as well as story.
I'm going to say it should(reasonably) get about 8.5-9.5 out of 10.

seems REALLY short. If I was going to play this game(didnt play any previous Halo's so I have no interest) then I would just rent it. Same as heavenly sword. awesome game, short game.

I'm just saying it's worth it to ME, and many other people out there as well. I'm anxious to see the graphics on my HDTV and in real-time, so I'm going to buy this game.
im going to buy it. plenty of cars and tracks to constitute a full game, AND its 33% cheaper than any new game out there for the ps3. not too shabby if you think about it.
The only reason it seems so expensive is because it doesnt live up to the full gt5 game, and thats because its a PROLOGUE.
when people say stuff like 'no way those graphics are in-game' and 'those are CG, show me real stuff!' it makes me all warm inside to know I own a ps3, and that people can't even bring themselves to believe the graphics are real because they are just that good.

I KNOW that mgs4, ffxiii, ffxviii, ffvii remake(if it comes out) and kz2 will each move TONS of ps3's.
one game, no matter how poplular, can NOT end a console war in this day and age. Maybe if one system had pac-man and the other just had a blinking dot but this is 2007 guys. halo 3 is big, but not big enough to bring down sony.

I was a bit curious to see some more of the environments in gt5 to see if they match up with environments in pgr4. if you see the city at the end(I know its short) then WOW. This game is going to be unbelievable to play.

Well, it deserves it. I'm suprised the 360 didn't make the cut as I've always assumed that askmen targeted the kinda guys who play and/or own a 360.
Still, though, I think the ps3 is going to remain the underdog until 2008. This holiday is a good chance for it to gain ground, though, and I personally think Microsoft should've waited to release Halo 3 until christmas to steal sony's thunder - assuming most people who get it decide to purchase before christmas comes around.

seriously, if this is another 'fake' remake, I'm going to go crazy. I'm tired of them expanding the story when we can't even really experience the ORIGINAL in its deserved HD glory.
If this is just a title for a remake of the ORIGINAL, then I take it all back and am once again a happy, happy man :)

I hadn't forgotten mulitplayer, and thats why I said it should get up to a 9.5 and as low as 8.5. HS is a GREAT game and it got an 8 from several sites because of its length and it had no multiplayer to rescue it.
