What's done is done. PS3 is doing decent and it has plenty of games coming out really soon, and many potentially AAA ones at that.

Thats gonna be great! I can totally see this being the big bang announcement and then the 40gb ps3 coming later, closer to christmas(If it even comes at all).
Even a timed exclusive for this game would create a short-but-sweet ps3 frenzy. Every body(including me) was really disappointed to hear that this game was delayed and now BAM!

Its because Europeans are a 'third party'. They don't feel (as)loyal as Americans do about the 360, and not (as)loyal about the Japanese with the ps3
They choose what they want. Why would they want a 360 with all of the hardware faults of late and so many games to come out in the very near future for the ps3? Halo 3 would be the only reason, unless they were just plain impatient and can't wait AT ALL for their games(The ps3's game drought is perfectly normal for the first year ...

Because it can do both.
It can do behind the scenes calculating such as A.I. and render graphics at the same time.
In laymans terms, it means that the ps3 will generate some EXTREMELY awesome graphics once people figure the hardware out a bit more.
One of the most powerful graphics cards for your personal computer on the market isn't as powerful as the brain in the ps3. Not even close.
Bear in mind that the card they are talking about costs as much as a ps3.
That's the exciting part. People say the ps3 is less flexible right now because of the separated memory banks. In reality, however, the ps3 becomes even more flexible than imagined due to the ability to render graphics AND perform other calculation needed for a game(A.I. for example) at the same time on the CELL.
The graphics chip inside might not be anything special, but the CELL more than makes up for that.

Man I would like to have one of those. Just don't have the spare money right now(or ever) though.
I downloaded the Jericho demo and, to my suprise, my computer ran it at decent speeds. Considering I've only got 2Gb pc2-4200 memory, an ATI x1300(512Mb ddr2)and an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+(2.4Ghz) so I was pretty floored that my computer even ran it at all. I had to turn the resolution down to 800x600 though, and the textures were only at low. It still looked really good though.

That is pretty sad when you think about it. The biggest game EVER(arguably) cant even run at 720p, which is their main competitors(ps3) LOWEST ALLOWED resolution. tsk tsk, Microsoft/Bungie.

I was SOOO CLOOOOSE to clicking that agree button. Resistance is a launch game on a completely different platform, it has nothing to do with halo 3.
Well, if nothing else it was a 'clever' dig at a ps3 games graphics - even though Resistance has graphics that deserve some respect IMO(R&C:ToD is built on the same engine, just souped up).

The Forge, how I understand it, is just basically a drag n' drop item placer. While this is neat, and should allow for some very neat ideas, it is nothing compared to UT3 where a user can create an entire level from scratch.

Isn't there a Wii title coming out that uses havok? The carnival one I think...
