So what, you don't want better technology? The ps3 has at LEAST a small advantage game-wise because of BR and only costs a tad bit more than a 360(the good one, anyways). Did I mention it could play HD movies???

I'd bet that over half of the n4g user base just looks at the score and then b*tches/gloats without ever having read the review.

That may be so, but nobody disputed 300's sales. Wanna know why? Because it was believable.
Blu-ray has been outselling Hd-dvd for a while now(forever) by a fairly significant margin, so it doesn't make sense that a hd-dvd exclusive would sell more than the best selling blu-ray disc, Transformers or not.

Who couldn't see this happening? Even I'm getting it today, and i've never played a Ratchet game before and I don't play many platformers. The demo hooked me, what can I say?

Sony didn't sacrifice anything, developers did.
The PS3 is fully capable of mind-blowing graphics(mind-blowing everything, really), devs just haven't utilized it hardly at all. Just the fact that games like Resistance could even be compared to current 360 games says something about the ps3, especially since it has MUCH more complex hardware.
All I have to say is look at the new R&C series.

Inexpensive is not the word to use there. It's definitely a good value when you consider price-to-performance vs the computer over there at best buy, but thats still a lot of money.
