COD4 was a good game. i can understand if you said MW2 and over but COD4 ?
saints row series is fun for about 5 mins before you get bored. GTA however you can play for years without even getting bored.
im getting tired of people thinking GTA is the serious series and saints row is the over the top series. GTA was never serious. it was always over the top yet in a realistic environment ( no cheesy big heads cough saints row cough ).
also you want a fun GTA game on current gen play GTA ballad of gay tony. it has the graphics of GTA IV...
I would love to try DC universe out but i have heard from friends that the install takes 18 hours to complete!!! thats insane.

gamecube is the worst nintendo console after the wii. it had no major mario game ( sunshine isn't as epic as the galaxy games ), was flooded with alot of spin offs including mario party games -_- and had terrible droughts were it would be months until a good game would come to the system. think the PS3's first few years times it by 10 and unlike the PS3 the drought was throughout its whole life were the PS2 would get great games every month.
sad thing is they are probably right.
I could say something similar that people are only defending it because its a ps3 exclusive. you can polish a turd but at the end of the day its still a turd.
if your going to defend a ps3 exclusive make sure its actually good. next you will be saying Haze was a fantastic game as well.
to be honest im not impressed. i don't know why but im not. ibefore this gen i was excited for what this gen was capable of but with lag, screen tearing, framerate drops and unimpressive graphics even for the big games im not easily impressed anymore.
I don't know what's more sad. this guy complaining to people why they didn't waste their money on a crap game or people defending a mediocre game.
I have played Lair as I wasted £43 on it ( how could I forget ). One of the worst games i've ever played.

You want a fun GTA type game that is over the top as the PS2 GTA games that is on current gen ? Then get Ballad of gay tony. Unlike Saints Row 3 it has substance.
Well they definitely have the money especially from what they made from Wii and DS but just cant see it happening.
To me GTA is a Playstation franchise. depending on whether you have a 60GB PS3 you can play the entire GTA series on one console.

I think theres more chance of hell freezing over. there hasn't been a single GTA game on a Nintendo console so it would make no sense making GTA one of the most violent games around all of a sudden exclusive to a company that loves there cute kiddy mascots.
Rockstar couldn't even be bothered porting the GTA triolgy on the gamecube. i doubt they will start now.

people just hate on call of duty became its successful. just imagine you were a rish millionaire who has gotten alot of achievements andd awards in your life people would hate you just like they hate on call of duty.
this gen has sucked for gaming. most games especially this year have little to no replay value with long installs before you can even play and still have bugs and glitches.

PS2 is definitely the best console ever. It focused on games not this DLC, online pass, installing your game for 30 mins before you can play crap.
You put the game in and you have fun. PS2 wasn't a graphical powerhouse but had the right amount of graphics, gameplay, sound, replayability and fun.
I am not speaking from rose tinted specs. I have a Wii, 360 and a 60GB PS3 and mostly play PS2 games on my PS3 more than 360/PS3 games.

Definitely not a GTA killer. I was really looking forward to this but Saints Row 3 gets boring and repetitive very fast. Most missions are minigames, guns such lack punch and impact and the world feels empty.
If your looking for a fun over the top open game like the PS2 GTA games I'd recommend you just get the PS2 GTA games out because Saints Row 3 is getting old really fast.

I had all consoles last gen. Xbox was the most powerful but had barely any good games ( theres a reason why people only bought it for Halo ). gamecube's only advantage was Nintendo's first party games and a few and I mean a few third party games.

Hit and Run was fantastic. it mixed GTA sandbox gameplay with the Simpson's atmosphere.
