??? every gran turismo game has outsold a halo game that it is competing with. gt1 sales > halo 1, gt2 sales > halo 2, gt3 > halo 3 etc. next time research before you post drivel.
burnout paradise sucked. open world racers are a no-no. burnout 3 was better but my favourite racing game is gran turismo 2 on ps1.
what i want to know is why these great ps3 exclusives don't sell as much as they deserve to. most sell around 2 million on average which is okay but halo 3 sold 11 million with both gears of war games selling 5 million each.
its strange as this gen sony has upped their game with first party exclusives.
i really think this all comes down to the ps3 launch were alot of ps2 owners upgraded to 360 instead of the ps3 which is haunting sony to this day.
wow so the DLC for GT5 is now more expensive than the actual game lol.

less than 30fps, screen tearing, lag, frame rate dips etc. the faster we get out of this gen the better.

im not really surprised. sony just remove features and thats what they have been doing this entire gen. most of the features that made me want a ps3 in the first place are now removed such as ps2 backwards compatibility.
ironically Xbox has been adding features since launch. such a shame as ps1 and ps2 were awesome consoles.
most of the best games this gen are multiplat meaning they are on 360 as well besides ps3 exclusives aren't as great as ps3 fanboys make out.

like i said after 2 years only a few games really looked great on gamecube. most of the 3rd party games were even worse than the ps2 versions as the 3rd party gamecube versions had missing content, worse graphics even than ps2 and terrible controls and most games didn't even appear on gamecube such as Burnout 3 even though the gamecube had Burnout 2 etc.
time to sell the ps3 me thinks. had a good time with the original 60GB PS3 but ever since the ps3 slim released the ps3 hasn't felt the same.
i liked when only a few people owned a ps3. it made me feel like i was in an exclusive club now its mass market and everyone and their dog has one. just feels like just another console.
im ready for ps4 and hope to god its announced soon. ps3 is getting traded on ebay.

for a console that came out almost 2 years after the ps2 you would have expected it to be more powerful than the ps2 but the differences weren't even that huge.
what's so lol about it ? considering they have start putting up ps2 classics on the store it would be a perfect change to bring it back.
there are way too many good ps2 games to just forget and some will not even release due to licensing or companies out of businesses.

there better be an announcement of a ps2 emulator you can buy on the psn store. there was a rumour from a credible site that he had a friend from Sony who said at the end of 2011 Sony will release a PS2 emulator for ps3.
would make sense since ps vita is releasing so both ps3 and ps vita will be able to play ps2 games finally.
this is sad what our beloved hobby is turning into. at the same time this angers me but at the same time im not surprised and this was only a matter of time before they charged more for games.
if this happens i won't give up gaming i will just stick to playing last gen games. i have enough ps2, gamecube and 360 games to last me a lifetime.
no it won't. people bash Heavy Rain for being a interactive movie but thats exactly what the Uncharted series is.
@lumley666 i think he means that for all the boasting and bragging ps3 fanboys on the internet do for the exclusives to just sell around 1-3 million at best is beyond a disappointment especially when the Call of duty games sell the most on ps3 in fact on the back of the ps3 cover of black ops and MW3 it says its the highest selling franchise in ps3 history.
Its because gamers are starting to vote with their wallets instead of buying 5-10 hour, mediocre to below average trash.
For example DE HR was absolutely terrible and dull with horrible tacked on gameplay that wouldn't look out of place in a ps1 game.
Resistance 3 just wasn't a good game especially when you can get much better shooters for the same price. People only bought the first one because there was barely jack all to play after PS3 launch. <...
almost all of LBP1's sales were when the prices dropped. i remember LBP1 prices dropping 2 months after release to $20.
Uncharted 2 sold well based on word of mouth but should have sold more. its the halo of the ps3.
i agree that sony should stop making the exclusive fps games as people buy Playstation for unique games like Heavy Rain or God of war not a cheap halo wannabe.
