This game keeps sounding better and better. They seem to be trying to do everything with this title. I hope they are not overly ambitious.
More "side tombs" seems like a perfect opportunity for DLC, based on reviews, and the game already sounds pretty meaty. A rare chance I might be interested in DLC...
Per-ordered! I haven't really played TR since the 90's but loved it. Nice to see they did such a good job with the reboot.
Glowing review!
"After the first hour I was so hooked I cancelled everything I had planned for the weekend and decided that this was going to be a single session affair."
Wow!
Demos don't always do a game justice. Sleeping Dogs and Infamous, two games I ended up loving, come to mind for me.
Managed to grab it for $36 from Green Man Gaming (which is a Steam code anyway) with their additional 20% discount code! With all of the positive reviews, this was too good to pass up.
My apologies!! It does not release until Tuesday for me, and I mistakenly assumed you acquired an early bootleg.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it! I've got it pre-ordered and am looking forward to it!
Then I hope you PAY for TR. Please support those doing good work that you enjoy. Don't be a PC gamer who gives PC gamers a bad name.
This sounds great! No more QTEs also sounds good, but I preferred the combat in TW2 over Fallout 3!
It would also be nice if the PC/console UIs were a menu option on the PC version since typically use a 360 controller.
Deep Down would be nice!
Why isn't this showing up under the tomb-raider-2013 channel?
That was the best review I have ever seen! Must wipe my watering eyes...
I like the idea as an OPTION, but I HATED not being able to prevent it in Dark Souls. Having to disconnect the NIC or intentionally die after lighting a bonfire was stupid. I want to enjoy my game without a cheater or better player ruining it.
But I WANT to be a special snowflake when I sit down to play! :)
The ideal input device is yet to be created. The mouse is much faster and more precise, but I usually prefer playing with a 360 controller on the PC.
It is hard to argue that Skyrim is generic when, unlike most games, it was able to drag so many people, myself included, in for an insane number of hours. I will be ecstatic if TW3 ends up putting it to shame by comparison, because it will have to be incredibly good to do so.
Based on the quality of #2 and the few details about #3, this sounds fantastic! I hope it is better than Skyrim, which I happen to love.
I hope it's as good as I hope it will be, redundantly speaking. Looks like a definite early purchase.
Wow, Skyrim is not even on the list. Many disagrees will likely follow, but I thought its epic soundtrack was fantastic and had an enormous impact on the overall experience.
Looking forward to SP. Don't care a bit about its MP.
