The UI is what made me stop playing, even just franchise mode. It's so slow, barely shows any info without having to scroll (also slow), isn't very responsive, requires different inputs for the same thing on different screens (hold L1 here, press L1 there, etc)........it's 1000% form over function and it sucks. I don't need a picture of the players' faces taking up 1/4 of the screen - give me their stats and ratings, and quickly!

I love it when a dev goes all-out and does something right.

It's too bad MS can't get at least a couple RPGs like this going again.

Hasbro just released new figures of the WFC/FOC game designs and they're doing well, so.......

It's so odd that so many Spider-Man games are seemingly given lower print runs, even if they're not the best games.

I hate counting limited editions for these lists. I mean, they're made to be rare and expensive. It's far more interesting to hear about the NCAAs (even if most people know that one already) and the El Chavos than some massive hit that came with a $200 statue at retail.

I hope to god no one complains if this isn't 60 fps.

I mean, sure it's interesting, but only for a few minutes. I don't really care how much stuff costs - just hope games I love are profitable so I get more of them.

Remakes pay for the new, riskier stuff.

There's an audience - it's just too small to make a new game worth the time and money spent developing.

That's......not the point. Point is that businesses make plans for everything, even the implausible. Just like NBA teams will have plans of they could offer if a superstar hits the trade market unexpectedly, Microsoft and Sony will have ideas of what to offer if each other somehow decided to sell its gaming division, or Ubisoft went up for sale, etc. So MS having these kinds of "plans" is really meaningless.

So what? It's like how in sports, trades for EVERY player are discussed, even the ones you'd think are 1000% off-limits. I'm sure Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo all have plans laid out for any kind of way to go, depending on how things go. MS likely had a list like this since 2000, as has Sony.

EGM was the best. That era from 90-95 was so much fun.

This isn't the 90s where gaming was niche enough that smaller companies could still compete at that level. Gaming is huge now, to the point that only the mega-giants can make hardware and not get embarrassed. Be glad Sega survived at all and enjoy what they do now.

Not the first time, won't be the last. Not worth buying when they pull this crap.

I almost want them to delay it again just to be sure, because messing this up would be a shame.

I think it's even more open than BotW. There were areas in that you would just get throttled if you went to too early.
