To be fair, that's just the corporate way in every business - run the popular thing into the ground until the well is dry, then repeat. Go for the quick/easy buck rather than the sustainable model.
GBC was more like a half sequel, a 1.5 of sorts. It wasn't as much of a tech upgrade and more of a new screen.

I love all three of the main Bethesda Fallout games, so I'll take any of them.
They should take the approach Capcom is taking with Resident Evil - alternate remake and new releases until they're caught up and all modernized.

Can't wait! The modern Wolfenstein games have been some of my absolute favorites of the past decade or so. MG has become one of my most trusted devs.

Sony's back in its "thinks its shit doesn't stink" phase, like with the PS3 launch. Microsoft should be attacking rather than waving a white flag, but they have crap leadership.
They're way way way way too small to even consider taking on Sony and/or Nintendo anymore. Even if they hadn't screwed up the 32 bit era and beyond, the business has far outpaced them. Microsoft can't even buy their way into dominance.
See, just let your devs focus on what they do best, make fun games, and success can still follow - no need for GAAS or microtransactions.

100% same here, except I won't bother with just an OLED upgrade since I play docked 95% of the time. If they up the battery life substantially, then I might be moved...
Wish Nintendo would follow suit.
