Halo, as a series - just didn't "get it" until I played Reach while doped up on meds for a kidney stone. It all clicked for me: the story, the gameplay, the lore. Went back to Halo 1 & 2 and tore through them with fervor.
I actually had the opposite feeling - Unity was just ok, but I really enjoyed Syndicate.....until the crashes wore me out and I uninstalled with maybe 3-4 missions left, if that. Unity just felt paint-by-numbers.
Phantasy Star V or go home, Sega.

I still enjoy the series, but they lowered the ceiling on what it could become when they killed Desmond.

It's ok. The 8bitdo wireless pad is better, but this is fine. I wish it was rechargeable, but that's a preference. The control pad is a bit loose, though still responsive.
Final Fantasy VI, IX, and X, Mass Effect Trilogy, Lunar: The Silver Star, Red Dead Redemption. The end of Infamous 2 as well.
Xbox One by a good amount. DS4 is better for fighting games but that's about it. XB1>>DS4>Switch Pro

I thought it *felt* great to play - the story and character focus was off. Fix that and I'm fine with that being Halo 6.
