Well, I was just thinking that I should start doing live streams on twitch soon...well, guess not.
Thing is, the mods in the screenshots mainly cater to people with beastly rigs. I play Skyrim with 40 odd mods including 4K textures, Sharpshooter's Extreme ENB (Classic), flora overhaul, 4k rock and mountain textures, etc, and I get about 45 to 60 fps on a gtx 770. My game with the mods running looks good, but nowhere close to the what's on these screenshots.
My point is, when you aim for your mod to be run only by top end rigs, then it's easy to crank the graph...
There were some screenshots of environments as well. Did you miss those?
Watch the E3 2012 reveal. That's most likely how it'll look like on PC at max settings.
Bloody hell! How you guys enjoyed games on last gen or enjoy games on nintendo consoles (e.g. mario) is beyond me. Yes, the game is not at 1080p on consoles. Yes, the PC version looks better. Yes, there is a possibility that the overall graphics for consoles have been downgraded. But does that stop you from enjoying the game?!
On every single watch dogs thread I read people just moaning and complaining about the graphics of Watch Dogs. I've seen direct feed ps4 gameplay ...
I play PS2 on Ultra on PC, and I can say that SOE have lived up to their word; the ps4 version of the game definitely matches PC Ultra, at least from what I can see from the offscreen shots.
Most PC gamers (according to Steam survey) have 8 GB of RAM (Including me). 8GB on PC is actually less when compared to 8GB RAM on consoles, since the OS footprint is lower for consoles. But why am I telling you this? You only come here to troll console articles. But I doubt you're even a PC gamer, or maybe you are, but game on one of those intel HD 4000 laptops, and are pissed off that next gen consoles are more powerful than your "gaming" machine.
Yeah I agree that sometimes reviews can be misleading, that's why I initially said that I'll be the judge on how good or bad the game is when I get it on the 27th.
The part about watching reviews from IGN was just for people who HAVE to watch reviews of games before buying it. IGN was an example, that's why I also mentioned Gamespot. There are countless other legit review sites whose reviews are usually accurate, but in the end they're all opinions.
All he does in the review and the video is compare it to GTA Online/GTA V. He says that during daytime, GTA online looks better visually than WD Xbox One version. Though the Xbox One version is at 792p, from all the next gen gameplay we've seen, I highly doubt that GTA V looks better than WD next gen (albeit GTA V was a technical masterpiece for ps3/360). He talks about graphical features in the game without any context; talking out of his ass. It was actually embarassing the terms he was...
Don't think they'll look worse, but they won't look THAT much better to warrant a 4K TV purchase JUST to play ps3/ps4 games. If you're going to watch native 4K as well, then that's fine. Though make that your priority, instead of only playing upscaled games.
Yeah, that's true. But is the performance better than a 1080p OLED TV? I don't know. If it is, then yeah, go for the 4K OLED.
If you ever have any questions regarding PC gaming, or need help in that matter, I'll be glad to help and answer your questions. Just PM me :)
I think it's a better investment to buy an OLED TV now instead of 4K. OLED TV's have an infinite contrast ratio, amazing colours, and almost non-existent response time. Plus by the time you'll be done with the OLED TV, 4K content would be more widespread, and you could get a 4K OLED TV then. Yes they're really pricey now, but for those who have the cash to burn, OLED is a better option than 4K, IMO.
I guess this took a long time getting approved. The deal's dead now.
Greenberg's trolling might even put greenpowerz and georgenoob to shame... :/
Don't feed him Lukas...just don't.
I gave my PC a name too. It sounds oriental:
Gae Ming Pee Si
