Just a correction; the GTX 880m's performance is somewhere in between a GTX 760 and a GTX 770. Heck, one of Asus's new gaming laptops (can't remember the model) has a overclocked GTX 880m, which performs very close to a GTX 770. I agree with the PS4 peaking as a 7870/660, but not a 880m I'm afraid.

Yeah, but levelling up, in any game, isn't linear. Just because you reached level 10 is 6 hours, doesn't mean you'll reach level 20 in 12. It's an exponential curve. Levelling up gets harder as your level gets higher.
Actually most people hating on Destiny are mainly PC only gamers. Haven't seen many console gamers hate on Destiny. Maybe some Xbox One owners, like you mentioned, probably due to the exclusive deal with PlayStation, but it's very rare.

Trust me, you don't wanna do that. New nVidia cards have enough umph to do PhysX on their own. Unless you've got a GTX 260 or something for PhysX, don't bother. As sometimes using a high end card just for PhysX can reduce performance than using just the main card for PhysX.
I was watching the Live stream earlier...it's NOT Xbox One. That's Xbox 360 gameplay, as that was the only version Jjag72 was able to get his hands on this early.
I don't even think Destiny will outsell CoD:AW, let alone the GTA V.

Replying to your comment below, my 2600k is currently clocked at 4.5 GHz, so it probably performs a bit better than your i5. But even still, Arena Commander doesn't run too well. But here's hoping its just an alpha issue, and the final game will be properly optimised.
I know what you mean. Arena Commander runs like ass on my rig, which sports a gtx 770 and a i7-2600k...*sigh*

Unfortunately, as it can be seen from the video, the PC version is NOT running at max. A lot of effects are turned off e.g. advanced PhysX, and the settings are on High and not on very High. Nonetheless the redux games look awesome regardless of platform.
Huh... That's weird. None of my other games seem to have a problem. My rig's got a 2600K, gtx 770, and 8 GB of RAM. so I doubt it's the specs. Hmm... Maybe I'll check the EA forums for some answers.
I just hope this update fixes the random freezes on PC. Gets really annoying and detracts from the game experience.
