Name one other full fledged RPG with a combat system as deep and fluid as this game.
Despite any perceived flaws with anything else, thats what has me sold. That, and its not a sea of grey and black.
We don't even know if its good or not.
if its good then there's reason to be excited.
If it isn't good then well there's no reason to get excited.
are these concepts really so intangible, or have we entered a period where hype is more important than gameplay?
Fact: Super Meat Boy has a low price and thus more readily bought on impulse
How many games do you buy @40-50 bucks on impulse?
"ZOMG THE WORLDS ENDING SO MANY BUGGY UNFINISHED RELEASES QQ SKYRIMMM BETHESDA Y U NO FIX GAMES BLAHBLAHABLAHBLAHBLAH"
in summary, yea day 1 patch = good.
All I know is theres going to be mindless hate towards this title like every other new IP. Its so depressing. If it doesn't have a big developers name on it, games like Amalur will just sink into the "underrated" category.
ps. If you play this game on mouse+keyboard, you're doing it wrong.

well thats close to it I'm sure
but I think its more of a combination of that and "never say never"
exactly...
every game can be a "role playing game"
but when we say RPG as a primary genre, we mean that loot and leveling up are not a side attraction
less than a month to go...we should have more gameplay footage!!
arg I can't wait for this game. Nice details here.
Its definitely not homophobic
sorry, try again.
I don't even think its going to be f2p...
On EVE online they tried to sell cosmetic items for avatars at OUTRAGEOUS prices in real cash. The community literally revolted.
