I'm all for customization but I think in general people should try to learn to play TM2012 as TM2012 first, and not make snap decisions after 20 minutes.
For lots of people its a brand new genre of game and I'd hate to see it get bashed on because people were too impatient to learn new controls.

I've played since BF2 and I can't stand Kharg and Firestorm.
Theres nothing 'proper' about those maps.
Back in the day I played a lot of smaller matches, as did LOTS of people on infantry only server. This "proper battlefield" nonsense only came about after Call of Duty got popular.
