This looks SO damn good. Really looks next gen, an example of what you can do with true next gen exclusives.
Did you forget the /s?
Fancy making an actual new first party studio from scratch, how about that.
An abusive company? Did you read that comment before posting it? What a load of nonsense. The hate Sony is getting is honestly ridiculous imo, but at the same time apparently Microsoft are saints for throwing stupid amounts of cash around to keep numerous decades old multiplatform games series from the competition and is somehow being spun in to being pro consumer lol? Such a joke.
And you're really comparing the usual next gen price hike that happens everywhere in the ...
Yeah, no free upgrade, just as with TLOUR and countless other last gen remasters is super anti consumer, but buying up studios left an right and a huge publishers to keep historic, decade old IPs off of the competition platforms is somehow being spun in to a good thing.
Yeah I expected they wouldn't just drop it, they had the same attitude with PS3 but PS4 still got plenty of PS4 only games 1-4 years after it released, can't imagine this being much different.
I am surprised at Horizon, a bit disappointed it's not PS5 only and taking full advantage of that in terms of game design, but there's still PS5 only games coming, Demon's Souls, Ratchet, it's not like they are doing it to the extent that microsoft are.
Because there are so many people who work for large gaming sites/outlets that 'grew up on a nintendo', and in their rose tinted glasses the flawless Nintendo can do no wrong, they are absolutely held to a different standard than practically any other publisher, shitty anti-consumer practices such as this should be rightfully called out.
My point is that you're using a cross gen game as an argument, a game that has to be designed by the base Xbox One requirements in mind even, it's not a proper next gen game and we don't know how it'll run on Series S and they haven't talked about it yet.
That's a cross gen game though in fairness, and now word of how it'll run on the much weaker Series S yet.
Yeah I'm not sure why PS5 is being lumped in with Xbox here, unlike MS Sony didn't have a super lacklustre showcase recently.
This game looks like the biggest steaming pile of crap I've seen for a while and encommpasses all the worst parts of this generations games, live service, repetitive, 'weekly challenges', endless loot grind, greedy af MTs.
No thank you.
What about the framerate? 60fps across all 3 surely?
You're joking right? Nintendo get a pass for everything and Sony are apparently anti-consumer for simply requiring a dual sense controller for PS5 games.
Why is it only available for 6 months? Also I hope it at least gets the 1080p/60fps treatment, 64 at least looked no different to me, feel this is a wasted opporunity but I don't think I'll be able to pass up the chance to have 3 of my favourites all on the same platform.
This is fine, but requiring a dual sense for next gen games is the worst! D=
'holidays' isn't really a term in the UK/europe, it's just different terminology for other regions.
There was obviously some kind of deal or negotiations that went on for this, Marvel/Disney own the game rights, Sony own the film rights, they've been collaborating for the last 4-5 years to have Spider-man in the MCU, and 2 years ago we got Marvel's Spider-man on PS4, it's only natural to think this is along the same lines as that and shouldn't be that surprising.
It's all marketing fluff, something MS excels at doing.
But I thought everything could scale?
