I also feel that remasters shouldn't be there. Remakes are new games, and they should count 100%. Remasters are usually just a res bump for consoles with a few added textures and if you're lucky, bug fixes. I'm not sure what they were thinking allowing remasters to qualify for new awards.

30FPS is never the right choice. It takes actual hours to get used to it. Can't play anything else that isn't 30FPS or you'll have to get used to it again.
With that said it's fine for turn based games. But shooters and action games with a camera that moves around should be 60FPS or have a 60FPS option.
Can we start blocking all third party exclusivity deals? People keep saying Sony is "investing" in 3rd party which is why they get exclusivity deals. But that is BS. This is a little scary to hear honestly. When it was announced they were talking about how Konami was watching them carefully and that it doesn't deviate much from the original game.
They said something about making the game more challenging. Silent Hill was never a challenging game, it was a fun game where you beat enemies with a pipe and solved puzzles. It would really suck if they made it so that you can barely kill the enemies and have to run away most of the time....
Banning the game over mods would be ridiculous. They haven't banned Skyrim/Fallout yet and that game has the same thing. Celebrity mods get posted on Nexus every now and then, and you also have the sex animation mods that you can put them in. If you have Skyrim VR you can do probably about the same thing as VaM.
I can't speak for everyone, but I can tell you what convinced me to buy the game at full price. I liked Dark Souls, then got sick of Dark Souls after finishing DS2. I wonder if it's a problem with the PS4 and now PS5. They should be able to support any 16:9 resolution up to 4k, and downscale or upscale as needed.
There's only so much you can do with super fast loading speeds. Racing games exclusive to PS5? Everything that is 3rd party might just have more pop in or load stutter on the slower consoles and PC configs. I honestly don't think things will change all that much design wise. Just higher resolution textures and 4k gaming being the norm.

My favorite PS4 games are Bloodborne, Persona 5, and Uncharted 4 including Lost Legacy as it is the standalone DLC for it. Really hope there's a Bloodborne 2 one day.
