First of all, who says this? Second, why only mention Super Mario Odyssey? There are plenty of other examples to give.. there's another example coming out on the same day... Wolfentsein!
Tlou2 and Death Stranding are the games I don't think will make it, the rest I'm pretty confident in though.
Can someone please mention Dreams already?! Am I the only one actually keeping up with this game and seeing the tremendous improvement they have been making?! It has to be ready to release in 2018, it looks so close! Also I would really like to hear more about that game Wild, haven't heard much since it was announced at like psx 2015 if I remember right, I know they're both on the list but everyone seems to overlook them and focus on just the usual suspects.
Nintendo seriously dropped the ball not having a collectors edition of this game
This is terrible, I only just found out about the site last month and IGN just had to come along and ruin it for me...
@ 3-4-5
"more like how Super Mario Odyssey is" What? Mario Odyssey is not one big open world?... So what do you mean by that? Seriously I want to know. A smaller more compressed map does not make it like Mario odyssey (which has a bunch of maps tethered together by a hub)
It has plenty of flaws, from poor mechanics, to underutilized mechanics, the lack of any real reward for everything you do, fragmented "story" told in the worst possible way, all of that on top of missed potential. The game is not even close to as good as people try to say it is, you can enjoy the game sure, but to deny all of it's many flaws is delusional, especially when (if you ask me) they outweigh what the game does right. (which when you really lay it all out, isn't ve...
The art did look cool but was ruined by the gaping hole in the middle of a lot of them. The transitions were horrible for the most part, it would be great art if the next transition/image wasn't a sore thumb on the image you are currently looking at. Not exactly mesmerizing, also kind of annoying aspect ratio and the fact that it loops. The fact that it loops would be cooler if the transitions actually were seemless.
The problem with Nintendo is that all games are thrown under the same name, Nintendo, you just see Nintendo's name on all of the games they put out, you have no idea who is actually making what games, so you don't know what to be cautious about., for example, MarioKart 8, Splatoon 2, Breath of the Wild, and ARMS all simply say they were made by Nitnendo, that tells me almost nothing, I know that the same team didn't make all of those games. It would just be nice to segment them a ...
$60+ game and they still lock simple things to limited time windows.. for... no reason? not surprised one bit. Destiny fans deserve all the bs they get in Destiny 2.
Why are you attaching platforms to games that are multi platform?
Gonna have to strongly disagree with Rude-ro, not every game is repetition, sure most games have repetitious moments, but Destiny is repetition the game and Destiny 2 is repetition on top of repetition. The first game offered little to nothing besides the raid and constantly trying to level up for it by grinding for loot. Destiny 2 is no different. Broken lackluster PvP and awful excuse for a campaign all while adding literally almost nothing new to the sequel. You can try include all little ...
Like the fact that Sonic racing is on here (not even a sonic game) and Sonic Heroes, Sonics 1 - 3 &K aren't. I know it mentions Mania and talks about how it inspired the list, but it should still be on here. I would put Sonic Riders on here before Sonic & Sega Racing.
Well I don't personally play Forza because I don't play racing games anymore (other than the occasional mariokart) He mentions in the video some vip membership that gives a 100% boost to currency gain, which means they will be earning double the amount of loot boxes as someone without it and says a free mod even comes along with it. I would go ahead and assume this is what he's talking about when he says microtransaction.
Yet you still grind endlessly on Destiny to get your "legendary" loot fix. You know that game has Microtransactions too right? Hypocrisy.
I actually enjoyed MvC3, but man this game I can't justify getting. Everything about it seems rough around the edges, unfinished, unpolished. Weak roster, I just.. I don't know what they're thinking.
He explains exactly what micro transactions are in Forza 7 and why they are a problem, yet you don't do the same for Overwatch? All loot boxes in Overwatch only offer cosmetic items, nothing gameplay changing. Not to mention you can earn loot boxes just by playing the game, I have every skin I want and I barely even play the game anymore. I have never bought a single Mico transaction except in Rocket League and the is only because I got the game free and I am happy to support those devs ...
Amiibo are a terrible practice. Don't you dare try to justify it.
I'm gonna have to say Gamecube as well, i think that's when Nintendo really hit their stride. The N64 had an unfair advantage of being their first console to truly do 3D, so that automatically makes it stand out to everyone around at the time. So Nintendo would have to truly do great with their next console to make it stand out, and they did. The Gamecube had an amazing controller, still one of my favorites to this day, the N64 controller on the other hand... terrible. Then the unique...
