Holy crap Gravity Rush 2 came out this year? That seemed so long ago. That game needs to get talked about more, it's fantastic. Plus the free Raven DLC. Man those guys deserve something, and the soundtrack.. damn I might go play that real quick.

I'm glad somebody can see how flawed the game truly is and not just drink the koolaid like everyone else, haven't played Persona 5, but I do know two games that are 100x better than Botw... Mario Odyssey and Horizon Zero Dawn. It's a slap in the face to those devs to give it to the broken mess that is Botw over those expertly crafted games. Doesn't even make the top 5 Zelda games if you ask me.
I prefer Mario over Zelda because the game has less flaws than BotW. BotW is riddled with flaws from beginning to end, the game was built on flawed design. Mario Odyssey is brilliantly laid out from start to finish. Every inch of every world is thought out with meticulous detail making a very seamless and flawless experience, truly a masterpiece. The same cannot be said for BotW. That game smacks you in the face for exploring, all you ever find is the same exact 3 things, korrok seeds, spirit...

Don't let the fanboys get to you, you're right there was nothing worth finding... the same orbs over and over? Some opal? Some armor that makes very minuscule differences even fully upgraded? You are 100% right the open world never truly has anything worth finding other than the Master sword.
Kind of tired of the PUBG hype beast. When Call of Duty encourages camping it's seen as a negative thing. The most pathetic/broken console Zelda to date gets game of the Year.. game journalism's Nintendo bias is showing again. Should have been Odyssey or Horizon, but whatever, the industry loves to ride Zelda no matter what.
