This game was, is, and always will be a classic and a defining moment not just for RPGs, but for gaming in general. It should be held in a museum.
I plan on getting Atelier Totori, Ar Tonelico Qoga, and White Knight Chronicles II early next year.
Also, Enslaved was a BRILLIANT game. Ninja Theory needs to be recognized more.
The sarcasm is readily apparent.
Really? I had NO idea! Uncharted 3, Skyrim, AC Revelations, Saints Row: The Third, etc. Yeah, never heard of those games before. Thanks for cluing us in!
If I made a game (which I hope to eventually) I'd be glad it got an 8/10. I would take the criticism to heart and hear ANY advice on how to make the game better. Yes, games are YOUR creation but you also have FANS which allow you to create games. It's better to just take it on the chin sometimes and shut the hell up a la Insomniac responding to Jim Sterling's All 4 One review.
Someone could make an Uncharted game inside LBP2 now. :))
Man, if it actually takes place in D.C. or a D.C.-inspired city, then colored me excited for GTA for the first time ever. It would be PERFECT for GTA and would open up so many gameplay opportunities. Also, a hell of a story could be produced. You know how much stuff is in D.C. that would fit into a crime game? Incredible.
People bash on this guy because he actually isn't afraid to use the entire review scale. 7.5, when using the ENTIRE scale, is still a very good score. Sure, the game may not be for everyone or do anything new, but it has many redeeming qualities that one can't deny. I wish people could see that the review scale is more than just 7-10.
Significantly better? Well slap my ass and call me Sally, cause I didn't think it could get much better than U2.
That's $800 I could spend on games for my console.
No way is Skyward Sword a perfect score. Granted, I haven't played it, but every Zelda is the same game ever. Start with the Forest Temple, go here, do that, etc. No one ever says that, though. Call of Duty gets ripped for it. It is NOT sarcasm. I normally agree with Edge, but they're predictable in their perfect scores.
Not surprising since Edge are just like everyone else: Fanboys.
Haha with Mass Effect 3, Ni no Kuni, FFXIII-2, etc. I doubt it. But I really do wish I could play it on day 1. Maybe a miracle will happen haha.
Game of the year, and I have to wait until January at the earliest to play it. :((
We need more JRPGs on PS3 dammit!
Forgive my (perhaps) ignorance, but I don't understand those prices unless they're American.
If you want MW3, why not just save the money you were gonna spend on Battlefield 3 and put it towards MW3 instead?
A perfect score means you were blown away. A game could have no flaws, yet get a 9. If it didn't blow you away, it's not worth a perfect score.
Is Mirror's Edge perfect? No. But to ME, it blew me away, that's why I consider it perfect.
Cliffhanger in MW2. So intense and perfect.
Since this game only had 3 courses to start with, DLC is a little 'meh' since it should have came with the game to start. This game does look fun, though!
