show respect to developers by paying them for making awesome games. if you pay for them they might just have the budget to make sequels! saying that you'll be pirating only single player games is just a gross justification.
the PS3 only recognizes FAT32 formatted HDDs (which are limited to 4GB file sizes)... PS3 games run up from 10-40GB a piece. what's the work around there? what's with the windows xp window frame? and what's with the upside-down ps3?!
it's playable. everyone keeps touting that all these things are crippling the game. they're not. it runs better on the xbox because it was made first for the xbox. if you have a choice, play the xbox version. if you don't, the ps3 version has it's issues, but ffs it's not UNPLAYABLE.
play it on the xbox.
the disc tray shines blue like once a week to tell me i should turn it on. to my disappointment, it's always some stupid nintendo announcement about "check mii out" or something like that.
in my case, yes... i'm a single player gamer and i prefer the PS3. i have xbl and psn for online gaming and if you notice my gamertag, i don't game online often :-P
maybe some people like to play games but don't have broadband internets?!
always has their prices at way below retail. i only buy exclusives in retail (transformers walmart only imax edition for instance). i have amazon prime so i get it on release day too!
i jumped in early, around the launch of the ps3 actually. i love bluray but i'm not so sure i still agree with sony's use of the ps3 as the trojan horse for the format and regulating the system to 3rd place due to delayed entry to the generation and premium pricing. i guess it worked for CDROM for consoles on PSX and DVDs on the PS2, it's not surprising. i've not bought a single DVD since 2007... 300 blurays and counting!
it could be that 1 in 4 ps3 owners already bought it too...
but their customer service is excellent. they've replaced my phone countless of times. wish sprint would have the same level of customer service. damn, and i work for sprint.
made by HTC... and sold by google... is that the only difference (technical aspects aside)? what makes this any more special than say... a hero or mytouch?
see the thing is i had over 200 NES games and when the SNES came out i was like EFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! but i didn't care, why? because i had 16bit sexiness to play with. who cared about mario bros 3 when i got mario world!?! then the n64 came out and was again like, EFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! i had over 100 SNES games now i couldn't play on my n64... but did i care? nope, i was basking in 3d mario's glory!!!! and it continued on with each and every console i owned... i amassed a huge...
Emily Rose is frickin' gorgeous IRL :)
no one complained about this when the NES was replaced by the SNES and the N64 later...
BC is a moot point. i have too many PS3 games to even worry about going back to play any of my PS2 games. when nostalgia hits, i may put in an old game, but that's rare. seriously guys, are next gen games just that boring? should sony implement PS2 BC on slims and later model skus, run a survey a year later and see how many people actually play. i say move forward. Gamers born after 1995 are spoiled because they assume that this is something that's normally done with game systems. the o...

speak for yourself. where did you grow up? utah? wyoming?
too much time on your hands kiddo.
i agree LBP was an awesome platformer but from a traditional standpoint ratchet and clank has no rival. I'm on my 4th playthrough right now. LBP greatest asset is the continual amount of support MM is providing for it. just downloaded the PotC pack and am loving the water aspect :). There's almost zero need for a sequel. LBP actually belongs to the play-create-share catagory in my case. can't wait for modnation racers.

stopped reading there. plus, for a console to be called SYSTEM OF THE DECADE... the PS2 is the ONLY console that has been sold throughout every single year of this decade... beginning with its Japanese March 2000 release until now, 2010. Plus 130+ million sold has something to do with it as well.
