by the time the game comes out. who knows what kind of tweaks they've put into the final product. the demo is pretty outstanding as it is.
loved super stardust hd... this will be awesome!
i mean, it's just like the bowling alley in home... except they charge you to play. i guess in a way that's better than waiting in "line". meh, microsoft is out to get everyone this time around... except the big thing at ces this year "3D BLURAY"
they just announced they sold 39 million world wide... so instead of actually saying how much they sold this holiday, they went and picked the bigger number: overall sales! oh microsoft, you suck.
nice... 3D LED 52inch Bravia XBR to replace my current 52inch LCD!!! i know where my tax refund is going.
three what?
"We're happy to announce that the Xbox 360 sold *cough* shipped *cough* 3.9 million consoles this holiday season. We sold 100k more than the competition, thus solidifying that the Xbox 360 is THE console of choice for this generation."
the gimped version of the xbox is $100 cheaper. there is no gimped version of the ps3 (not anymore). both ps3 skus now offer the same thing except for HDD space but they both have HDDs. the xbox arcade vs. the xbox elite, the arcade completely lack a HDD. you have to compare apples to apples.
even when you do that, the 360 fails to maintain overall value out of box when compared to the ps3. integrated bluray disc player, wifi, hdmi standard (from the get go), free online, rec...
until next generation... the xbox will be pushing 5 years this november and it's already showing its age. the natal is suppose to bring a breath of fresh air but i'm not sure how that's going to fly. i mean, didn't sega try this with the genesis a la sega cd + 32x... microsoft is in a hard position this generation... they dropped all support for the first xbox to rush the 360 to market and now they're falling behind to the wii and the ps3 so they're almost forced to release a brand new cons...
"Speaking at CES 2010, Kaz Hirai announced that the Sony PlayStation 3 sold 3.8 million units worldwide in the month of December. 1.7 million units were sold in the US alone, which would be up over a million from last year at the same time."
Yes leila01, it's 1.7 mil for the US.
and as history would have it now is about the time the PlayStation consoles start showing their teeth. it's the beginning of total, complete, utter, relentless DOMINATION.
agreed. the 40/40 score had something to do with it. also, this is game is filled with sexual innuendos and i think that also has something to do with it too... hell the demo was called FIRST CLIMAX!!!
did i hit a nerve with my halo comment? halo has been over done. should have stopped when master chief "left". Halo Wars, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Halo Natal, Halo 4, Halo vs. Capcom.... etc. seriously... i honestly do not see any console sellers in the lineup for xbox this year. natal is too little too late.
just kidding. sonic has lost his speed. my next kart racer is modnation.
cause that woudl be cool. different gamertag every month.
it's because a majority of the "gamers" here don't recall the day the psx came out. i remember it very well... i was 14 and my friends and i took the bus the the mall. we walked into babbages (no waiting in line) and picked up our SCPH-1000s. each of us bought a different game, i bought battle arena toshinden, my buddy bought ridge racer, and his brother bought mortal kombat 3. we all went home and plugged in for the first time and were astonished. i remember remarking at eiji'...
bah hah hah hah, xbox home!!!
hard to see the xbox decline with a halo release this year... but we'll see. halo is a perennial release now and almost seems to be the only thing keeping the xbox alive (besides call of duty). i can see nintendo, though... unless they release a true wii zelda.
ps3 is just a repeat of the ps2 and the psx before it. it will dominate this marathon.
man, i knew i should have waited... i should have gotten the inevitable MW2 Game of the Year Edition... arrrrghh!!!
